I'd really hate to miss out on a Calix release AGAIN, but money is tight.
I hope they're in stock by the time I can order one!
Get verified and sell some gear!!!! I just know where to hedge my bets on a good place to spend money. And the Calix is one of those places. As well as the new Kayfun. I trust them to put out a good product. I'm selling some of my gear to help too.
I'm tempted to start a "let's put our money together for HB collection" like we did in the Radius thread! You're half the reason there is a p3 threaded version if not more innovations and word-spreading about the Calix. (You're the one who told me about it to start!)

I think his order would look something like the below, assuming the P3 is the same price (can't remember if Billie mentioned that or not before)
This is kind of his dream order. So if we just raise enough for the p3 elegance, I'm sure that would be great too!
So just p3 elegance = 115 Euros (close to around $125 US.)
Or his dream order = 157 Euros (around $175 US.)
So we're aiming for either $120 or $180. Whatever we can get to, will surely be awesome!
I'm gonna go incite the Provarinati (I never get the spelling right there).

Hi! In addition to my PM, I thought I'd reply here too for others convenience:
Q's video pretty much sums up the Calix very nicely. I've never tried the device you mentioned, but have used:
-Kayfun lite +
-Phenomenon
-Kayfun v4
-Russian
-Other rebuildables... Hmm lol - lots.
Calix is right up there with the easiest. Top fill. Juice control. Just awesome. I use the indirect method exactly as Q shows in his video. Only thing different is that I use a contact micro coil at a lower watt and tighter air (I use MTL).
Here's Q's video. You already found the v2 thread I see, and also the link to the ByLeo site for ordering the Calix v2. (The p3 version should be added next week. They're producing it as we speak.)

For the record, this isn't a pity party for HB or anything, and I don't think he's in extreme tough times... But the fact is that it seemed that he doesn't have the funds at the present time to get the Calix, and thus I didn't want him to have to wait a another month or more to get it!
He's been one of the biggest ByLeo/Calix supporters, but never even pulled the trigger on a v1! And bare in mind that the whole time he was waiting, he said he was waiting for a p3 version... So it's not as if he doesn't "really" want it it anything...
Just that he can't afford it currently, and I think we should gang together and make it happen for him because he deserves it for all his contributions on this forum and his spreading the word of the Calix!!!

€14.80 EUR was what the fedex cost me, it is worth the extra cash, but you have to be able to be there to sign for it, I usually go the other route which is handled by USPS once it gets here, but my last order took a little over 3 weeks.
