Qorax buddy I am stumped. My mesh arrived today. 400 gauge. I cut a 2cm by 3cm piece and followed all directions from your video. All went well except when I put the ss mesh in the coil my resistance goes from 1.4 do .4. I have tried a few different coils and each time when I thread the wick the resistance of the coil drops by almost a full ohm. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

So my Calix v2 seems to be leaking. I am always finding liquid under the atty and on the deck of my xvostick. Any ideas what may be causing this? I am LOVING this atty just need the leaking to stop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If it is leaking from the side hole, it's either overfeeding or the coil is too low in the cup. If it is leaking from the 510, try changing the bottom oring of the pin with the extra one provided. Try not to use to much force when putting the SS cup in the base :)

Hi, sorry for the late response. Like I said in reply to your PM ~ there could be an issue with your oxidizing method. Pls follow what I stated there.

Thank you Billie. I think I may have been overfilling. Leaking seems to have stopped as I am not filling it all the way now.

I get the idea that Grimm didn't watch any of the by Leo videos. He does point out some important points on filling it.

I use the by Leo drip tips and as such, have no need to remove/replace the drip tip when filling.

I have a KFM3, and wish I'd have purchased another calix instead. I had some problems initially with wicking the calix, but found a way that works well for me.

I like my calix. The kfm3 may well get sold.

What way of wicking did you find that worked best for you? I'm still not sure if I'm getting the best flavor out of mine.

Hey Billie,

Love my Calix V2, but I've been having an issue with it since I got it and seems worse now. One of the screws doesn't tighten down tight and the wire won't stay trapped. I've tried replacing the screw itself with spares and other screws that do tighten down. I think it might be that the bore hole for the screw is ever slightly too big. I'm only using 28 AWG and don't think its the wire.

Thoughts / help?

So quick question... Is the Pico basically a 'Nano', but with the v1 base? So... If one were to buy the Pico, could the chimney and tank piece be used with an existing v2 base to convert that to a Nano?

Is the base any different/updated at all from the original v1 base?

Pico = v1 with Nano kit + non-AFC center pin

Yes, you can take the chimney and chamber from a Pico and put it on a V2 base with the V2 pin on the SS cup and make a Nano :)

If the spare screws fit, it must be a faulty screw. If none of the screws fit, please let us know which part of the SS cup it is, on an email at ByLeogr@gmail.com and we will send you a replacement.

For more flavor you should use the setup with the wicks away from the liquid feed. Half-to-one turn on the liquid control is usually enough. A 2 to 2,5mm coil with the top part of the coil protruding slightly from the top of the SS cup, so air can come in easily through the bottom.

We are preparing a big video to explain how the Calix works. It turned from an atomizer to a vaping platform with all it's different setups, so we have to analyze it in great detail. We didn't make it until now, because we didn't have all the parts needed. :)

That's about what I've got going on right now, about 3/4 of turn and indirect method. Just curious what others are experiencing.
