I got my first eGo type battery about a month ago, an Inferno from volcanoecigs; I ordered just the battery since I already had everything else I needed, including the usb cord; I decided not to get the cone because I preferred the way it looked without, kinda techno without looking like a fancy pen, and I've been very happy with it. The other day I ordered another Inferno for my wife, and I decided to order cones for both this time-wow, what a difference; okay, it looks like a fancy pen with a baby-bottle nipple on it, but I'm getting more and better vapor now, and the sound of the atomizer working is audible but subdued. Something to do with the airflow I think; after all it was designed to be used with the cone. Of course I can't use it with my tank, but I'll be using the cone whenever I'm using carto's from now on.

I'm with you on this, the cone seems to improve the "hit" for me on Ego batts.

I don't use that setup but do know airlflow can change the ballgame with PVs.

I prefer the draw with the cone, it's tighter & while it may be placebo, the cone seems to increase vapor temp a smidge.

the cone is supposed to make a hotter vape. the air has to travel past the warm outer shell of the atty so it warms the air up. It also functions as a drip shield which is nice
