Have you always wanted to know whats inside your little ecig? Nope, me either! I mean as long as it works when i press the button i couldnt care less if its tiny wizards, magical beans or cheap chinese batteries. Well 3 days ago (sorry for not sharing pics then, i've been lazy) my MaxX pulled in two when i was trying to unscrew the cone. So let me just state a few facts about my vaping habits. I only use cartomizers and my only devices ever used are the Riva and the MaxX. The parts are interchangeable between the two, riva cone fits maxx and vice versa. MaxX, with the cartomizer not screwed in the cone threads on with ease on the maxx, with the carto on its like pulling teeth trying to get this thing on, feels like its cross threading but its not. So you might be saying big deal, just widen the hole at the top of the cone to allow more room to slide over the carto. Well on the Riva the cone (Riva or Maxx cone) slides over the carto with ease and screws on great. The only thing i can figure is the threads arent lined up correctly on the maxx, and its not just one maxx battery its both batteries. Now i've owned 4 riva batteries and they all thread on with ease. Screw the carto on first or after the cone is screwed on no difference.
I ONLY use the Maxx when my Riva batteries are on charge which is usually every other day towards the end of the night for two hours or so. They are a backup, have been since i started vaping a month ago. So with that said i've probably used the Maxx a total of 5-7 regular days worth over that month period. The Rivas go everywhere with me, i keep them in a shirt pocket on my breast and they regularly fall out when im working, they've got battle scars but still feel as solid as the day i got them.
So i'm taking the cone off the other morning getting ready for work and its really tough this morning, i look down and its come apart in my hands. oh well, ive still got one back up battery and the cone i can use with the Riva which is good b/c i lost one of my cones for the Riva the day before. So now ive got one full riva and a riva battery w/ maxx cone and have been using that for two days until today. The damn threads came off the cone!!! SERIOUSLY, ARE YOU SERIOUS??? even the cone isnt worth a crap. I'm afraid to charge the other maxx battery thinking the charger might burn my house down, it is the only thing that hasnt failed, YET.

Anyways, on to the pics and I guess its time to break out the super glue. Moral of the story, dont buy the first production year of a car, let em work the kinks out first. If you are thinking about buying a Maxx/Trex, don't, there are plenty of other nice models out there with better reliability. If you already ordered or own a maxx/trex, well goodluck...
