Hi all. I am currently living in the US, but moving to New Zealand next week. If I remember correctly there was some type of "virtual ban" in place regarding ecig gear, juice or both. Can anyone tell me if I can 1) import my stuff, 2) resupply after I get there.

If I am not mistaken the ban is in Australia not New Zealand, its been a while so I could be a little off.

I've been importing all my gear (from the US, Europe and Asia) for the last 2 years. No issues whatsoever.

Retailers here aren't allowed to sell nic juice, so everything in the market's 0 nic. There is one retailer that intends on testing the law: Smoker wants e-ciggie nicotine at a shop near him - National - NZ Herald News.

The e-cig market here's very small. I can count the number of people that know what an e-cig is in one hand, so supplies would have to be imported.

From what I have read, NZ is way way ahead of most other countried when it comes to vaping. Their health department is at least on board from what I have read, and is looking to do some testing etc down the track. Unlike the nanny country of Australia here where vaping is the devils poison and is going to kill all of our children. Talk about scare mongering. Enjoy NZ and your new vaping freedom (from what I have heard anyway)
