i got my vivi nova 3.5ml and my vision spinner today.. i am impressed. so much vapor. only thing i dont like is the juice i got from madvapes(top vapor). stuff has barely any flavor. ordered some caramel coffe stuff from ecblends shortly after it got here.
Great job! Congrats on some great choices! Love my vision spinner. I started off with vivi nova's which aren't too bad, now I found that I'm a bottom coil kind of girl so I use and love my Kanger ProTanks, something to think about later for ya :)

Sometimes juice needs some steeping before it's flavor starts to blossom. I order from Mt. Baker Vapor, really low prices and it's fresh, I like the flavors. I might get into some more gourmet juices from different places once I get caught up financially after buying my initial necessary gear and backups.

They (mtbakervapor) recommend steeping 2 weeks before the flavor develops by putting it in a cool dark place for 24 hours with the cap and tip off then shaking every day with the cap and tip back on.

Good luck and Vape On! :)

Just thought I'd jump in here with my first post. Also a newbie here. Two weeks with no smokes after 25+ years of a pack a day. So far I've tried an Eon purchased at my local store. It was decent but the battery could not keep up with me for very long. Bought a V2 starter kit (manual and auto) and I'm using the 24mg carts. The V2 is better overall but at times the throat hit is not enough for me. I was most afraid of going back to the real cigarettes when drinking but managed to make it through last Friday night sticking with the V2. I smoked Parliaments but I must have been hitting them really hard cause even with the 24mg I find myself missing the throat hit at times.

I see some rigs recommended here. Money isn't really an issue so I am open to good quality recommendations to try. In the 24mg realm and wanting (needing) a big throat hit. Xtra points for companies and juices that are safe and won't poison me (at least not too quickly ;). What should I go to? I like to keep it simple so at this point trying to stay away from the super fancy overly complicated setups. Any help is appreciated. Provari perhaps?

^Something is wrong with that protank. They do not spew liquid when they are working properly. I would seek a refund.
I would not seek a refund. Seeking refunds is what drives up prices. Refunds should be a last resort. I would go to youtube and watch some videos on all the ins and outs of the ProTank. Google or ECF search "leaking protank" read and see what others have experienced. Vaping requires tons of tinkering. There is no such thing as a completely tinker free vape and go carto, system, tank, clearo or whatever. It takes time to learn, time to tinker, time to understand. After 2 years I still learn something new now and then and have things not work how I would like. The last thing I do is seek a refund. In fact I have never asked for a refund. Lots of new users go straight out and buy a Provari without understanding how vaping works. I cringe every time I see this. Sure there are fast learners but until you understand the basics, you will be holding a very expensive mod ruined because of leaking juice and then want a refund. Ok, that was my rant. Anyways, welcome to the new members. Congrats on quiting. Don't you just love vaping? :)

No, I do no recommend Porvari yet. IMHO. First I would recommend figuring out your juice. If you want a stronger throat hit you need a juice in a higher PG. Meaning more PG then VG. So like a 80/20. Then buy some samples, tobacco flavors, dessert flavors, drink flavors in a few different mg. From 12mg to 24, Try going to Halo, Backwoods Brew, Allusions, The Vapor Station, Mount Vapor Baker and order some samples. There is a link up at the top of the page of ECF suppliers that can really set you up in some nice samples. and many offer a discount to ECF members. (3 to 5ml size) Get a good self contained battery. Ego style, with NO Variable Volts. Buy a. 1.8 duel coil carto tank set up which will give you a nice throat hit and keep you in juice for a few hours. Or the Resurrector cartos from Crystal Clear Vaping,( not a tank). Figure out if you like sweet juice, savory, mild, strong flavors. Learn how to fill cartos, tanks, clearos. Learn which juice is thinner and leeks. Which is thicker and too sweet and won't wick. Did you know that you should not use a tank on an auto battery because the juice could leek in there and ruin it? Lots to learn and know. Anyways...Then after that you can move up to a variable volt and see how the flavors change on different resistance cartos. Baby steps. lol

Welcome to ECF. I mean no disrespect. Congrats on quitting and it really is nice to see how gun-hoe the new members are! It is amazing and wonderful. Just my 7.5 cents.

honestly i wouldnt spend that much money on something until you have a better idea what you want. the setup i have is pretty amazing and produces a lot of vapor.. the mg of nicotine is something you decide when buying juice, so when you order just select 24mg in the drop down menu (most sites have this). i am using the 2.4ohm coil running around 3.9v and it seems to be working great.

in cast you didnt read my earlier post i have a vision spinner 1300mah and a vivi nova 3.5ml tank. only about 40 buck if you already have an ego style charger and a back up battery.

plus i know there are sites that sell customized starter kits. i think someone posted in this thread earlier about that.

This is what a lot of us have found to be a better beginner kit. I would choose two 1300mah spinners and the EVOD tanks if they have em in stock: http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

A ProVari is great from what I hear, but best to keep as a reward or goal down the road AFTER you learn how to keep from spilling your juice down a $200 PV and ruining it.
Stephuhnator, thanks for the tip. did you ever have issues with the rubber bushing fitting flush with the top cap on the vivi nova? ive had to use a toothpick to push it into place so there isnt a gap where it would leak juice from. not a big deal, just thought maybe there is an easier fix.
You're welcome, yes I've had those same issues with the vivi nova's which is why I switched to Kanger ProTanks, also found I like the bottom feeding more.

I still use one of the Vivi's and I get a rag and try and center the post, haven't searched around for a fix yet. Do be careful not to get the leaking juice in your mouth, it can make you nic sick.

Set the Provari, or perhaps a more advanced VV VW device like the Vamo or Sigelei Zmax, as a goal down the road after you learn the ins and outs of tanks with juice. $200 is a lot of money to throw away on just a ProVari while learning to vape. I would recommend a Variable Voltage Spinner to learn on and Kanger ProTanks or EVODS instead of Vivi Nova's. Good luck and congrats on ditching the analogs ;)
