Camel Flavor

I had order some Camel flavor from Evapers.com and I really loved it. I have never smoked Camel cigarettes so I have no idea what they are supposed to taste like I just know I liked the Evapers Camel flavor.

Recently I had ordered some DIY Desert Ship flavor from Happy Vapors based on the description I assumed it was the same Camel flavor I purchased from Evapers, maybe it might be a tad off but basically the same.

Well I have been trying to mix up a batch a few times and it doesnt seem to even come close to what the taste of the Evapers flavor was. I tried mixing a small amount A drop to 3ml then 2 drops then 3, it never tastes like the camel from evapors and then It gets to the point that I get that perfumey flavor and I know I am using too much.

Has anyone else had the camel flavor from Evapers, am I totally off here in assuming it's the same flavor. I also ordered some Camel Ultimate flavor in the hope that it will be the taste i am trying to match.

Dont misunderstand I am not saying there is anything wrong with the Desert Ship, then again I can say that either, just looking from some insight into this.

You really need to make 6ml batches with the Flavourart flavors cause they are so concentrated and 3ml batches are just to small.

I'm relatively new to DIY but one of the most important things I've learned so far is you have to let your mix sit for a day or two - or a little longer if you can. If not, you get the "perfumey" taste everyone mentions. I got the "Camel Ultimate" and it's great after a day or two of sitting and gets even better as it ages.

What I was looking for was the Camel flavor which seems to be very subjective. The specific taste I was looking for was the one matched at evapers.com and I thought that was Desert Ship. I kept adding more flavor hoping that it would turn but that never happened. Apparently based on switches comments the 2 flavors are nothing alike even though Desert Ship was described as a camel flavor. So the real issue I was having was trying to mix a flavor that was nothing like what I as going for.

With that said I have ordered the Camel Ultimate and from some of the reading in the forums it doesnt appear to be anything like Desert Ship (fingers crossed). I am hoping that that the Camel Ultimate will come close to the one at evapers.

So you have the Camel ultimate, have you ever had any of the Camel premix juices and how do they compare to the Camel ultimate?
