Can a bad battery ruin your charger?

I have a new joye 510 mega battery that would not charge. I tried it in two different wall chargers and neither would charge it. So I just recharged my old battery with no problem. I contacted the seller who asked if the charger light was blinking. So I put the dead battery on to check that, the battery started blinking red (not the usually blue) and now the charger won't charge my other battery. Could the battery have shorted out the charger?

The battery itself was blinking red, the charger just stays solid red

I had the same situation one time and seller finally replaced both, battery and charger. Keep emailing him and insist on replacing.

I think yes it can be the battery, and if you ever need new batteries, I recommend healthcabin.net I`m not sure buit I believe they`re one of the cheapest in the world and I`ve never received a bad item in my orders.And If you have extra money and don´t have a "eGo" I honestly recommend giving it a try.
