to start off as a strange intro to my said health problems and disorders

my left hand has been caught in a running car engine recently and it doesent exactly function and theres certain ways that the hand can move or certain parts of it that can be touched that cause a pretty bad pain to it that last a while and give a long lasting dull numbness thats just plain annoying

my right ankle and right wrist have been broken before in 3 places both times it happened and they both make a wretched popping clicking noise here and there and it sometimes causes a popped blood vessel feeling and other assorted pains im sure its not going to get better from where im standing

one of my "technical" health problems my soldering iron (this isnt ment to be a pun against anyone here if you mod things or solder you should be able to understand somewhat)

i havent been to a doc to get this diagnosed but ill get these random extreme energy bursts from time to time that causes spasms that last only a few seconds that either make me have random body movements or make random loud strange noises uncontrollably

and i have odd (oppisitional dysfunctional disorder)

anyways..........

i was wondering if anyone with sleep problems has tryed sleeping in a coffin/casket i have worked the past couple of years at a haunted house and used to have the job of popping out of it as well as being that chainsaw guy everyone is expecting and found it to be really comfortable and fell asleep in it on a few slow nights luckily a friend that was working with me woke me up before a group came lol

but im interested in looking around for one not having to much luck trying to find something for under 800$ anyone avail to help?

well other then building your own which could also be just as expensive i am un aware of where to get them... i used to sleep in one myself but then i was told my wife to stop scaring her friends

how much did yours cost you?

i also have to wonder did the lid ever accidentally close on you?
any loss of oxygen etc....

i got one from a very close friend who runs a funeral home they did renovation and no longer needed one... so it was free... as per your lack of air i used a drill on the underside under the bedding and used and air tubing in various places with air pumps so no it never closed with out air flow anyway. i always closed it nice and quite and dark best sleep i ever had... and no i dont have it anymore

Must say, this an unusual thread, but here goes...at our house we joke about my "rock" I got for Christmas a couple years ago. We bought our burial plot and our stone, all engraved, ready to go..but now I am thinking this may not be the dumbest thing to do, buy your casket, also, put in a good quality mattress, guaranteed for 20 years or so..but the lid down would be a problem for me!!! I'm NOT serious here, just forget the whole thing. I am afraid it would just be too tempting for "someone" to just shut the lid. Besides, unless it came with a usb charger, they'd better just keep that lid shut! It just wouldn't be pretty at all if I ever got back out.

Seriously, I know there are people who sleep in a coffin and swear by it, there was an article years ago in a little newspaper called "The Grit", anyone ever heard of it?

So basically, what you are really asking is for people that aren't google challenged to help you learn how to use google better? Lets see how long it takes me to find a casket bed starting NOW:

EIGHT SECONDS

Of course, I'm not seeking attention on an online forum or anything, just searching for the term "casket bed" surrounded by double quotes on google. Maybe that's the issue. My not seeking attention allowed me to think more clearly.

Zofryer, This is a forum that was created to help and listen to others. This is not an open group. It doesn't matter if the board has a glitch that allows non members to post.

Please join and share your problems and be of help, or please feel free to post in the rest of the forum, not here or Women's.

Thank you.

Your need, while flattering, to track my postings and pull this nugget out of the ether, shows me I need to tone things down a bit. It does nothing to take away from points I've made previous. So if your goal was something akin to discrediting my thoughts and feelings on parallel matters..... You know. I don't do anything but real. Real hurts sometimes, but it is what it is.

i know how to use google dont be a phallus i was asking people if they knew of anywhere to get them on the super cheap you sir are the reasons most people give up on forums for putting the fear that they have to write out everything in specific so nobody can take it wrongly ............it just ruins the fun for everyone

Unseen, In order to keep this thread from becoming a free for all, I will close it now.

Please know that your question, while out of the norm for this kind of forum, was welcome. It doesn't matter if you were in earnest or just teasing us, I think we all liked thinking inside the 'Box" for once. LOL

Please feel free to continue posting in other threads or start another of your own. We all here to listen or to help.
