Can anyone suggest a decent metal clearomizer?

Going on vacation soon and expect to spend a lot of time by the pool. :) Most of my clearomizers are plastic or glass, so looking for something all-metal, non-rba that can take a drop on concrete. I have a Vamo V5, but will probably be using a Vision Spinner 1300mah for portability and lanyard use. And preferably not too expensive. Thanks!

Edit: Is there such a thing, or is "metal clearomizer" an oxymoron? Maybe I'm looking for a tank?

I have an Aspire Nautilus, so now I'm thinking of getting a metal tank for it. I was just looking for something a bit smaller - it looks a bit unwieldy on a Vision Spinner. This hollow tank design looks pretty cool - has anyone tried one of these? Any comments on durability?

these are very cool
can buy them in plastic, glass, or metal
and depending how serious you are, you can by a few and mix-n-match
like the cheap top coil vivi nova then get the base for a Aspire bdc, install
metal tank, endless possibilities (get creative)

- Vision Vivi Nova Tank System - Metal Tube
- Aspire BDC Vivi Nova Clearomizer 3.5ml - Rainbow
- Aspire BDC Vivi Nova Clearomizer 3.5ml
- Vivi Nova Replacement Metal Tank

For a ego style battery I would suggest an ego base topper like the kanger above or Aspire ET-S. Toppers with 510 threads worry me for dropping on concrete. The ET-S is supposed to hold 3ml and most likely will act up with a half ml or so left.

Another thought is what brand you have already. We have 6 months vaping and too many styles and coils. Learning curve for sure but at some point you say wth and have to narrow it down. If you already have coils for one brand, why start an adventure with another while on vacation?

You hit the nail on the head!!! I am over 5 years vaping and I can't keep up with all the newest stuff. I am so confused, my head is spinning, and not in a good way. Buy this, but not this,no, buy that, not this, no go this direction, do rebuildables, don't know how, well, it's simple, watch this, so I watch it, and spin even more. For now, I am sticking with my eGo batteries and clearomizers, although, even there, I don't really know if I have clearomizers or tanks??????????

    Here's what I have now:
Kanger MT3S x 2 (got these with my starter kit)
Kanger Evod Glass v2 x 3 (have metal outer skin but glass internal tube)
    Kanger Protank 3 x 2
    Kanger Mini Protank 3 x 2
    Innokin iClear X.I x 1
    Aspire Nautilus x 1

Bear in mind I got all of this in the past 3 1/2 weeks, but that's a problem for another thread...:D

I would bet that the Kanger EVOD Glass with the outer layer of metal would hold up. They look like the original (what I know as the "original") EVOD tanks but with glass tube. The metal surrounds at least 80-90% of the glass so I wouldn't expect it to break with a short drop.

I'm hoping so. I've decided to order a metal tank for my Aspire Nautilus, but plan on using the Evod Glass as backups and for when I want a smaller profile. Thanks!

Aerotank mini or mega. Come with both stainless and glass tank section. Also the mega comes with a reducer for ego style batteries. My mega has been flawless.

These may have to wait for a later purchase. I've been eyeing them for a while, and the coils will interchange with my Protank 3's, but I'm leery of adding too much to my credit card balance right now. :)
