This is not a simple issue, because although it has proven impossible to create even the slightest sign of dependence clinically, in multiple clinical trials where large amounts of nicotine were administered daily for up to 6 months to hundreds of previously unexposed subjects in total, a super-efficient delivery device such as a modern electronic vaporizer operating at elevated atomizer temperatures was not used.
