I have had one issue after another since I began vaping last week. I started out with a cheap "510" wannabe from a smoke shop. While waiting for an eGo i purchased some cartos to go with it, they were too big. Had to call the company and after explaining to me I had a special "mini" they exchanged the cartos no problem. When I purchased my eGo, I also bought some Kamel cartos. I used to love Kamels. Got them, yuckity yuck, black licorice tasting to me. Also they were too low strength than what I ordered. contacted the vendor and they are being awesome about exchanging them with a different flavor... But in the meantime I placed another order thru a different vendor for some other prefilled cartos that sounded good. So excited to get them in the mail today, go to try one, and grrrrr, it's a female ended carto and I need male ends.I just want to cry because it seems like I will never find a carto that will fit. :(

I think most of us had that problem when we started, but it's worth it when you find the right products. Just starting out, you'll need the strong cartos. I like the 510 cartos from liquidxpress.com. The original and honeyflue are exceptionally good, as well as the cherry tobacco. Make sure your ego is the 510, cause those cartos are 510. Order the 26mg nic level and get a bottle of the juice to fill your carto. The cartos last a long time, but after 4-6 hours of vaping you'll need to put some more juice in it.

I didn't want to waste money on bottles of juice until I was sure I liked the flavors... So I was buying the prefilled cartos to try and then if I liked it, I'd keep the cartos, buy the juice and refill. It's is a 510 compatible eGo from liberty-flights.

Understandable. Just order the prefilled cartos from liquidxpress. They are all 510, and I have used them on the liberty-flights egos, so I know they work great. That's what I order anyways. And I have tried cartos from a lot of other places, and their prefilled are the best. Good luck!

Thank you for that! I started with 808 but was not aware of this. Thankfully, I have not encountered the DSE

No problem.

The DSE808 is actually a box mod rather than a thread type specifically. I believe the DSE808 and DSE801 use a custom thread which requires their own atties/carto's. Hence the confusion when searching for "808".

Well got the adaptor today and it fit on my eGo and one carto from one package of the threee packages ( 1 carto out of 15) actually fit on the damn thing. The other 14 fit but would not screw down. The 1 that did screw down, was so weak there was no throat hit and very little vapor. I contacted them to see if I can return them and get a refund since I was unable to use them and they said "not unless they were wrong strength or flavor, no returns on cartomizers." I'm really upset right now because I spent $25 on something I can't use, unless I buy an 808 battery which will then mean I have 3 pv's and i think my hubby will kill me if i spend more money on stuff to try lol. I bought some sample sized liquids the other day, so thinking i'm either going to start filling my own carts or start dripping because cartos are just turning into a pain.

I agree. Even from the same vendor (liquidxpress), the juice with the same name (I don't remember what it was. A great menthol flavor) was different in the pre filled than the same name in a bottle. Nothing against them! They got me off analogs. :) I just don't understand why they do that.

Also, just buy everything 510 and you won't have to worry about an adapter or if it will fit. But even the 15 that you got should work on the adapter you have. Either the adapter is bad or the cartos are bad. I would guess it's the adapter as I doubt you would get 14 out of 15 cartos with bad threading. But since one worked, I don't know.

Contact the vendor(s) again.

It definitely can be frustrating at first. But don't give up! Personally, I think cartos are the way to go. Of course others would argue against that. But I do know that just about all of us spent extra, and wasted $$$, and got frustrated at first.

You WILL find the right combo. DON'T GIVE UP!!
