I think I saw a post about this on a forum somewhere, but I can't locate the bugger now.

The button on one of my new batteries delivered yesterday isn't behaving itself. When I press the button I feel it click, but with the force required to make it click the battery only activates briefly or not at all. I have to squeeze much harder past the click-point to make it work.

Squeezing harder than what feels necessary does make it work, but my other two manuals work reliably as soon as their buttons click. Is there anything I can do to make this one act the same way?

Yeah I just actually got a light green reg manual and the button seems a bit sticky. But it works! If anyone knows what to do that would be awesome! :D
When you screw the carto on is it slightly tilted? Like almost not even noticeable?

Well now, there's a coincidence. The battery giving me a problem is green, too. Aside from the whole "press harder than what's required to make the button click" it also got stuck earlier, I let go of the button but it kept running. I pressed the button a couple of times and it finally stopped, but it's troubling.

This is annoying. I love the color, but I dislike having to argue with it.

Hmmmm...My manual did the same thing once (green in color)...I released the button..but it kept on going. Like it was stuck..I played with it and it went off. But here's a kicker...My auto did the samething...I was done drawing, but it kept going all on it's own. I hope someone can come and help us all out~

The button may loosen up over time. Likely will. Give it a couple weeks, then return it under warranty if necessary

Yeah I don't need the warrantee because its doing what its supposed to--giving me my nicotine, just the button is a bit sticky. I just have to hold it a diff way and it works fine. I'm going to play with it tonight. Push it down several times repeatedly to see if it loosens up.

Sometimes I forget to push the button entirely. I chalk this up to user error.

No way! This is the US of A, we don't do personal responsibility around here.

When your button fails to get pushed it's due to a panic in the stock market and a lack of emotional support when you were a child. Totally not your fault in any way. :D

I think I like you, Gribeau. Little wonder you're in Texas with that as a response. I'm thinking I want to ex-pat California. San Antonio is so awesome to hang out in, I'd kinda like to move there some day.

Not quite sure how to take that, I'd hate to be mistaken for a demmycrap or a repooplican. They both kinda freak me out, it's scary how they expect people to just fall in line and support the party platform without thinking for themselves. Reminds me of organized religion. 8-o

All ranting aside, it's a bit more conservative around here than I'd like, but it's not awful. I do get tired of the family values blah blah blah, though. Austin is pretty spiffy, that place embraces weirdness on a surprisingly large scale. The only real downside there is a highway system that is intentionally full of dumb (supposed to discourage the city from getting too big).

Anyway, if you like SA come on over. If you don't already have a cowboy hat and a gun they'll be issued to you when you sign a lease. If you can say "ya'll" convincingly they'll waive the background check. Gotta buy your own ammo, though. Cheapskates.

Naw, I just thought you were advocating some modicum of personal responsibility...

Close enough. I was trying to make a funny more than I was going for a political statement, but I do tend to espouse the virtues of personal responsibility. I loathe being told what I can or can't do unless it directly effects someone else. My personal rule of non-hypocrisy means that, since I won't let others make my decisions and opinions for me, I have to claim my choices as my own instead of trying to find someone/thing else to blame. I know, it's a novel concept. I'm weird like that.

Thanks for clearing that confusion up for me, chica. I'm glad that you're actively considering the possibility of approving of me. :D

heehee, I am not surprised two of my favorite vapers just hit it off, :D

LOOKIT! I'm on her list! I'm on her list! Bwa ha ha! I R now part of the inner sanctum. When do I receive my secret decoder ring?

*coughs* Sorry. Had a geekgasm moment there. I'm all better now. In complete control.
