Well it's not the button that's actually getting stuck. I guess it's the connection underneath that doesn't release on occasion.

I have 2 sets of batteries, 2 I use at work, and 2 I keep at home either in the lanyard or in the case (where I know they wont get gunked up). 1 white and 1 blue for each set. Oddly, it's the batteries I keep at home that have the problem.

I take a drag and let it go, but I still hear the atty and the light is still on. Have to push the button a few times to turn it off. I can hear the button click each time but the light and atty are still on

Not too big of a deal . . just makes me panic for a split second :p
Has anyone else seen this problem before? I've heard of buttons themselves sticking, but not this.

A few of mine (a standard and 2 XLs) do this as well. Pushing the button again sometimes works, but more often than not I have to remove the carto to get it to turn off. While I have considered contacting Val about it, it hasn't happened often enough for it to be a big deal, and it doesn't seem to be happening any more frequently as the batteries are used. I do so much less tinkering now as compared to the 510 that I started using ... for me, paying attention to be sure the battery disengaged is not too much trouble in trade for the simplicity that V4L has made my vaping experience.

This is one of the problems they have addressed with the "New, New" batteries. All of the "New" (as stated on their website) shorty and XL manuals have a new and improved button switch (per Leaford). The new switch is not on the current stock of regular size manuals, but should be by the end of the month. In addition to my numerous older manuals, I now have 4 of the newer style, 2 short and 2 xl, and the button is more tactile. You can tell because it sticks out or protrudes from the battery more than the old ones (which I have had varied minor problems with as well). As for the long term reliability on the new switches, only time will tell; so far so good though. :)
