Can i get a clear definition on the silly rule?

I noticed a thread was closed due to being silly. I cant find any rule that says we are not allowed to be silly. So i think a rule needs to be added stating just how silly a thread can be before getting closed. I mean is there a Zero silly rule meaning any thread being silly will be closed. Somewhat silly completely silly. I really need a definition here on the acceptable sillyness of a thread as i don't want any of my threads closed.

I know exactly what your saying. It is obvious that some palms have been greased here and it does not look right in
my opinion. If we cant voice our concerns or opinions freely, we mind as well move to a country like Cuba. I am starting to loose respect and patience.

I was just trying to pass along useful information to help my fellow vapers here. I did not mention any names and kept it clean, guess it didn't work, sorry. We got some good responses though and it got a lot of attention. I was in no way trying to make trouble, just felt obligated to let other members/vapers know what happened.

You did nothing wrong. In fact you were right. It's bad enough we have to fight the forces that would do the e-cig in, but now we got someone within our ranks trying to pull a fast one.

I was following that thread and am surprised to see that it was closed.

Do suppliers have influence on what can be posted here on ECF? I don't follow ecig politics and am not a fangirl of anyone's. I really am just curious if the unnamed supplier's reach reaches this far or if the silliness was just that some decided they wouldn't order from the manufacturer anymore.

I am sorry that you closed that thread. For one thing that thread was the most legitimate thread I have read in awhile. I just know now that the forum is run by the suppliers. man how disappointing is this to finally find out. I had a feeling but now I know.

Silly = don't talk about suppliers. even if they are un-named. they know who they are.

Yes, I agree the mod answered in a less than ideal way. However, further questioning is in order ---not further silliness.

I would definitely give the Mod his day in court but the reason given was just how he put it "silly". I think we all would like a little more explination as to why it got shut down so we can be a part of the solution here. The only thing I can think of is that they were afraid the supplier (s) would be named and cause a bigger problem. Other than that it was a reasonable discussion. It is unfortunate that the said product is only available from 1 manufacturer but give it time and they will come .
