I am getting a Vapor King and how do I know when I buy a cartomizer from another site that it will fit the same as the ones that are coming with the VK? Is there a standard to them or what?

Are you getting a Vapor King from Vapor4Life? If so, their Vapor King is a somewhat modified version of an KR808D-1. This is a very common model. Any cartomizers compatible with a KR808D-1 should work just fine with the Vapor King from V4L. If you're getting your e-cig somewhere else, it could be a different model that they have dubbed as a vaporking or from vaporkings.

Oh one more thing, I have bought some liquid to do the refilling. Is it better to buy empty carts when refilling instead of refilling prefilled carts? The liquid is a different flavor
Just putting a tag for the one place i used for KR808d1 which was Cig Easy. So far two orders down and not a single complaint about the service or the items.
Yes and no. If you do not want to spend the time and effort to really clean them once you have used them up then yeah get empty.
I still use my original cartos (one got burned and nasty) but made an order to get empty ones. It is nice to have no other flavors and to KNOW they are not burned... but I would not say you have to get empty ones if you are willing to clean them well.
