Can I get help with an Artemis tank?

It was suggested to go with my Zmax at the B&M I bought it at.

The problem Im having is that it rarely vapes. It sputters, it pops, it makes some wispy clouds after I stop pulling on it... but vaping? Not so much. I thought it was flooded, so I cleaned it out then refilled it, but no change. Then when I went back to the shop they suggested primer puffs. That makes it vape occasionally, but still not enough to be useful.

Im using my Vision clearos and smoktech XXL cartos atm, but as a chain vaper, they have issues...

Can anyone offer any advice or suggestions on how to make this tank work right?

The issue may be the carto in the tank, not the tank itself. I have a similar locking tank and the carto that came with it was terrible. I use single coil cartos. Make sure to prime them properly before firing. Mine holds near 40 drops before I determine its good to start vaping.

Is there any easy way to do a differential diagnosis of cartomizer vs tank issues when I dont have spares for either?

My personal suggestion, if you have the money I would throw all your artemis tanks away or put away for an emergency which hopefully you never have to resort to but I started off with 3 of those crappy tanks. It sucks, you can only use flanged cartos which in my opinion suck because Boge doesn't make them. They leak, they break easy, not very appealing aesthetically as well. The one thing to spend a decent amount on as I have found out is a good tank. It can change the way you vape. Just my .2 but I went through similar struggles and thought I would give up tanks altogether. I donated my artemis tanks to my trash can a while ago.

What happens when you use the carto without a tank? Do you get any vapor?
