Can I somehow fix this battery?

I am having the WORST luck with batteries! :cry:

I have a newer manual regular size battery that I recently got to replace another battery where I think the switch was a little temperamental and it worked fine for the first few days- well it was never as "strong" as my other original battery, but I know batteries can have their own "personalities" so I'm taking that into consideration. But it worked to put out enough vapor and throat hit to where it worked ok for me at least.

For some reason in the last day or so it's seemed to have very suddenly gotten weaker... I guess you could say? Just suddenly VERY little vapor, but at the same time the carto is getting pretty hot way faster than it probably should... And the vapor I do get tastes way sweeter - just weird and if it wasn't heated enough maybe? (I have tested other carts on it - same thing)

No drops, no spills on it... And it seemed fairly sudden. I don't THINK it's anything I'm doing to it - like I said I have one of my original batteries that worked for me from the start and from day #1 that's the battery I've used the very most, and it still works just as good if not better than the first day. (trust me - I've used the heck out of it already since it seems to be the only VK battery that likes me!) Now I also tried cleaning the battery with alcohol to see if it would help, but that didn't work at all.

Also, like I said this was a replacement I got for another battery giving me trouble- so I really DON'T want to use the warranty again so it doesn't look like I'm taking advantage of it. (well I won't use it again, put it that way- I like some of the products too much to want to give that impression) But at the same time money is getting super tight to where I can't place any more orders for a good while anyways. If anyone can help me figure out what's wrong with this and a possible solution to fix on my own I would be REALLY, SUPER, ETERNALLY grateful!!!

For what it's worth, I have the same problem with my two brand new black reg manuals. The second one, a replacememet for the first one, is even worse. I wanted to buy a third one, but they all disappeared from the website. They also hold their charge for about 1-1.5 hrs max and then die. I have no idea what to do. If I send them both back, I'll be left with my two autos, which work just fine, but I feel I need at least one manual for my refilled cartos.

Now that you mention it, I noticed it doesn't hold a charge as long too. (unless it's my own paranoia...? I dunno anymore- this whole thing has me bummed!) But one thing for sure I noticed it does seem to need more time actually ON the charger charging. I've been predominately operating on one battery for the last 2 weeks+ - thanks goodness that one battery works like a beast!

I do have an auto shorty coming my way from my last order and I sooooooo have my fingers crossed it works well because I'm all tapped out for a WHILE! Trying to work off one battery when I need to be a chain-vaporer to keep away from analogues (we have smokers in the house so it's EXTRA tough here!) is REALLY super hard sometimes! I've got my fingers crossed still though - I've seen some genius people here in this forum. I'm hoping it's just something really stupid and minor that I can fix! That would SOOOOO make my day!

Order Comments: The black manual regular battery I received in my last order has problems: the switch button is sticky and doesn't retract all the way (I have to coax it with my fingernail back to off position); it loses charge after about 1 1/2 hrs and seams to overheat the cartos. Val emailed me asking to mention it with my order. I'll be happy to send it back if you need to look at it. Thank you very much for your excellent customer service.

This is the copy of my comment to Val. They were wonderful, as usual, and sent me a replacement.

I'm glad that I'm not totally paranoid. I felt awful. I didn't want to write again... and tell them that the replacement is even worse. Thanks for posting.

Yeah I just got a replacement for an auto shorty that wasn't working. I requested a manual and it vapes great but I've noticed the charge issue myself. I'm hoping it will correct itself in time. If not it'll be alright as long as it vapes I'm cool. I don't like using the warrantee either. The last thing I want is to be one of "those" customers. 8-o
I tried to fix my auto and definitely made things worse so I don't know if that's the best idea. I would e-mail Val. They wanted mine sent back. I think they are trying to figure out what the issues are. I'm not sure if my mangled battery is going to be much help. So my guess would be that it's best to leave well enough alone in case they need it to send to China or whatnot.
I really hope the one you're getting will work beautifully for you. Having two or three dependable batts I found is essential in easing the stress.

Lol... Now I feel like a butthead for posting about it! Though I wasn't trying to draw attention to it - was just hoping maybe there was a quick fix (I've seen some crazy fixes on here!) or even if it may be something I was doing wrong somehow or something so I could avoid it.

Thanks Kat and Defiant- Got my fingers crossed my shorty will like me too! Hopefully in time I can build up a supply of a few backups of batts that work really good for me- the auto shorty was supposed to be my backup but guess she's gonna get put to work! lol. I'm just glad the one batt I have that has been good for me is REALLY that darned good! :D

I instilled the BEST warrantee in the biz, so our Family customers have LESS STRESS in their life. Please, do not worry when you have a legitimate issue:D

And THAT is why I'm starting to love this company! On top of the best cartomizers I've gotten my hands on yet... Oh and that pomegranate and red cow juice! :wub:

Just to show my appreciation I'm showing off my good stuff when I go visit my best friend this weekend, and going to just so conveniently have a few v4l business cards on me! ;)

Steve, first of all, thank you for taking the time to deal with our trivial issues at this difficult time. I can only imagine what you guys must be going through. We're all with you, I sent a note to your governor, even though I'm not his constituent. I am, however, as Aubergine pointed out in her letter, an American citizen, and as such I have a right and an obligation to speak up. Our governor courageously vetoed a similar bill in California, so it can be done. We wish you luck.

We know that you are as good as your word, and we don't want to take advantage of your kindness and trust. I'll send an email to Val and send both black batteries back to you as soon as I get a replacement. There's something wrong with them. I need to place another order anyway. Need to get me some more SMILIN cartos and juice. And the Prem Cappucino.

I've just worked in customer service before and well I don't even like to bug my waitress for something she forgot to bring to the table.
I love your business philosophy. It is sooo refreshing. Just getting attention from a real person when you have a problem is amazing let alone the added security of Smilins warrantee.
