I work in a natural gas field and I can get tons of it 4 free. A Chemist told me they are both same thing and they use it as an Anti-freeze. He also told me its commercial and has 99% purity , but I don't understand the difference.
Can I use Monoetheylene Glycol instead of PG ??

I dont think MEG is really that toxic.You might want to look further into it but PG is cheap enough anyway
Peg400 is the other base that I hear of sometimes, for people who have problems with regular pg and/or vg, though I do not know how easy that would be to get.
Research before trying it, I have not personally used it, just seen it mentioned.

Yeah . The chemist told me that it is used in perfumes and beers. Maybe he is correct ??
PG is pretty cheap...why in the WORLD would you want to take the chance?

DO NOT USE ethylene glycol. It is NOT the same thing as PG and is poisonous. - Status
