Can juice crystallize?

I was just vaping a leftover blu vanilla cartridge and I saw something brown coming out of the mouth end of the cart. At first I thought it looked like a fleck of tobacco. I blew out the cart a little and it came closer to the hole and when I touched it, it was granular like sugar. Can juice crystallize? I know blu uses Johnson Creek juice so it's not the cheap stuff from China.

Not really... it can be some kind of sweetner, like sucralose. Glicerin and alcohol don't crystalize, even at extreme low temps...

Interesting you say this, I just found an old tank that had some juice in it for a couple of months and at first I thought there was mould on it but after scraping it away there was definitely a crystalised residue. Not a lot though and more brown gunk around the rings than anything.
It was a cheapo crappy juice in the tank too. So maybe a bit of sugar from the flavour?

In the description of some ejuice flavorings (concentrates) it is mentioned that they may have crystals to form if cool / cold and that warming them returns solution to full liquid state. Some flavors such as menthol are available in crystal form and must be disolved for use (blending) in e juice.

I had an issue with some light brown hard crusties in my cinnamon flavor liquid in a glass tank. it defiantly will eat a plastic tank. but it seemed to me to be possibly the glue or something from the seals of the tank? it never leaked so I cant verify that.
