Can juice get "burned"? (Dark juice after mixing)

This may be a silly question, just bear with me please.

Lately, I have been adding the last few drops of juice left in my tank to a designated "jungle juice" bottle. I planned on using the "jungle juice" bottle of mixed juice when I was running low on other juice, or just if I felt like it.

Anyway, after mixing two kinds of juice (from same producer), the juice turned very dark, a very dark brown, while originally the two different juices were very light colored. Can juices react with one another and just produce a different color? I've mixed juice before but never seen such a drastic color change.

Then I wondered if juice can literally be burned if used in a tank with a burned-out/dying atomizer/coil. Anyone aware of this ?

Just curious, any feedback is appreciated.

One of the juices that I use will turn from clear to dark amber and develop a bitter taste unless I wash out the tank and coil regularly. I think this is a consequence of the juice burning onto the coil and then slowly being dissolved when the tank is not in use.

I have never seen much colour change in the liquid I have stored, but I wouldn t pour any juice out of the tank back into the bottle anyway
