So I was just wondering... Can juice go bad?? I've been vaping up all of my older juice to bring in the new and I was just curious if there would be a shelf life on it. I know most people say that it gets better, the more it's steeped, and I do agree with that. As far as I can see, I brought out a juice today that is about a year old now and it seems to still have good flavor. Well, I was just curious to see if anyone would have some feedback on this.

I'm really interested in all this too. I started vaping in August and was about to revisit all my old juices as I purchased approx 75 (LOL) and someone told me this would be a bad idea?

not a bad Idea at all some juice arnt even good for 1 month
I have a few takes 6 weeks to mature
the I did like dragon fire from hhv all that much till 2 months out then it was really good

although some juices will never be good

but whoever said it would not be a good Idea either doesn't know much about vaping
or a local shop
I have had that said to me by a local b&m once but they told me a lot of things that turned out to be false

Although I would give a good shake open cap for 20 min before use
maybe give it 24 hours after cap off depending on the juice

I dunno if they become dangerous to vape or anything but some definitely do seem to have a window...as in after a certain age they get funky tasting or just bad, as in hardly recognizable. I think menthols seem to taste great out of the box but once they start to turn theyre gross. Heavier stuff seems to taste good a lot longer but have a longer steeping time before theyre ripe. And then some just get better, some are good fresh and get worse, but thats just my tastes I dont really know what Im talking about so there's that

Shoot, i hope not! I'm all stocked up for the vapocalypse like a doomsday prepper. Ironically, I have no canned meat or water jugs stockpiled in my basement. Hell, I don't even know if I have a functional flashlight. Juice tho.. I'm all set.

who needs to eat when you got good juice

I can probably lend you some of my flashlights, other than that I also have none of the above. :)

Idk if there's an exact answer on juice expiration, but I'm sure it really depends on many variables like temperature it was kept in, bottle it was kept in (dark bottles let in less light), and what ingredients were used to make the liquid.

I keep a lot of juices that I got bored of with ~20% remaining in the bottle and drip em' time to time. The only stuff I've recently tossed out was some DIY stuff I made in 2011, tasted bad back then, tasted awful recently.

I've been wanting to actually steep a bottle of RY4 for a year just to see how the flavor profile changes.

Been vaping 2 months and still looking for those *great* flavors.
One day I may reach that point where I've had juice for a long time but for now; not even close.
Did you ever try ECBlendflavors?? They are really affordable and I think their juice is great! You can buy samples from them for like 2.50 and decide on whether you want a big bottle. My favorites are Orange and Watermelon.

My buddy and I have ordered from ECblends a few times, I actually have an order right now for 7 5ml bottles that should be getting to my house soon.

The quality of their liquid has been consistent, slightly mediocre, but far from offensive. Summed up, it's pretty good and cheap, which is awesome!

I'm mostly commenting on your post to compliment the bass guitar in your avatar, though. I love me my bass guitars.

I have a strong feeling they may be wrong jrenae. Like I said, I have a couple of juices that are over a year old and they taste just fine, although they are still sitting around because I just got tired of them. I noticed some of the flavors turn real dark. I'll tell you in another year if the menthol is still fresh. My menthol is well over a year old because it is so darn strong!. I use that very seldom and when I do, I just use a couple of drops in a juice to give it a little kick, depending on my mood, but it is rare that I do because it can be overwhelming. (Never would have imagined that I would be saying menthol is overwhelming... I smoked Kools most of my life!)

Yes, it can. I just had to toss ~150ml of Ahlusion juice that was a little over a year old. The thing is, though: All the flavors I found to be spoiled were made with natural ingredients. Will non natural ingredients go bad? I don't know.

This is a good point...just like with food. Highly processed foods (twinkies, anyone?) can sit around forever and be fine, but whole, real foods (fruits, veggies, etc) spoil within the week or so if not used. Unfortunately most of my juices are "natural" but I was thinking only a few months old they shouldn't be bad quite yet.

Thanks a lot. :toast: Yes, I've played drums all my life and always wanted to pick up a Bass. I finally bought this one and have been taking online lessons. 100ml should be in the mail today from my friends at ECBlend! Thank goodness because I received a gift bottle from them which I'm trying out now (popsicle 50/50 ratio) and it's giving me a sore throat)
