RBA - rebuildable atomizer = Kayfun, Fogger Russian and a bunch more great choices. These are tank systems that hold a lot of liquid that you can rebuild. Most can't handle sub-ohm. They offer much better flavor than most tank systems.

RDA - Rebuildable dripping Atomizer = Stillare, Tobh, Magma and a ton of other choices. These are dripper that can be rebuilt down to a subohm level if you desire. They have wells to hold the juice and require dripping onto that well every 3 - 10 pulls depending on the size of the well. Because of their design these normally offer a dense vapor and better flavor.

MOD - An APV (Advanced Personal Vaporizer). Allows for adjustment of Voltage/wattage. Has battery protection. Removable rechargeable battery.

RBA - ReBuildable Atomizer. A tank that can be rebuilt as in replacing the coil and wick.

RDA - Rebuildable Drip Atomizer. Similar to the RBA but there's no tank. Drip a couple of drops into the RDA, vape a couple draws, drip again, vape again, etc.

Mods - a catch-all term which includes any e-cig battery device which falls into the "advanced personal vaporizer" category. Back in the early days of vaping there was only cigarette-size batteries. Folks wanted longer lasting (larger) batteries, so they began modding flashlights to use e-juice delivery devices with them. The term "mod" has carried on to this day. This includes tube & box mods, mechanical & regulated (variable voltage & variable wattage) mods. Often these mods use removeable, rechargeable batteries.

RBA's are a catch-all term for e-juice attachments which use homemade coils and wicks. There are three types of rebuildable atomizers (RBA). RDA (rebuildable drip atomizers), and two styles of RTA (rebuildable tank atomizers) which are the Genesis-style RTA and the Kayfun-style RTA.

Ok you have some good answers and some not so good answers, IMHO

MOD = catch all term/phrase for any vaporizer battery holding device. That could be a voltage and or wattage regulated device which allows you the option of adjusting either the voltage or the wattage delivered to the atomizer. Regulated devices also have built in protection for safer vaping. The protection will stop the device from firing if there is a dead short in the atomizer or if the resistance of the coil in the atomizer is to low or if you set the voltage and or wattage to high for the resistance of the coil, you go beyond the specs of the device.
That term is also used for what is called a Mechanical device. Those are simple tubes that hold a battery, has a switch to turn on and off the battery power and a 510 connector to screw an atomizer into. These are not regulated and can be dangerous if not used properly with the correct type of battery.

RBA = ReBuildable Atomizer. An atomizer that has a tank for holding e-liquid and is user rebuildable as far as the heating coil and wicking material. Best known RBA is a Kayfun but there are many more.

RDA = Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer. A atomizer that usually has no tank to hold e-liquid and you must DRIP e-liquid into the wicking material to be able to vape from it. These are also user rebuildable with heating coils and wicking materials.

Hope that has helped you.
