Can someone explain to me what exactly does "The Kick" do?

Please elaborate on what it does, to help me and other people get a good idea on what it will and can do.

My assumptions, are, If you for instance put a 1.5 ohm on a 3.7volt battery device, it will keep a constant 9.1~ watts. Or if I slap a 2.5ohm on a 5 volt it will regulate and keep a constant 10 watts.

First so far the kick will only go to 10 Watts maybe just a tad more (.5) You dial in the watts (heat) you want and what ever you put on it it will stay at that wattage. So as the ohms change in your older atty it will adjust the voltage to keep the watts the same. When you dealing with volts (a VV mod) the watts will change with the atty
