Having trouble with my BB. Frying attys instantly and getting too costly to troubleshoot on my own. I opened a ticket before on an earlier issue, but can't find the option now.

Thanks!

P.S. I've never had any luck with the "contact us" on their site.
Krandle,
What battery are you using your BB. The only thing that could cause the atty to blow is too high of voltage, or juice in the atomizer connection. I see that you switched over to LR atties, which are known to be iffy. I have had some of them last for weeks and others only minutes.....

I'm using the Trustfire 14500 900mAh that I ordered with the BB. It's been working great, but this morning I put on a new Yeti 510Lr atty that I received from altsmoke yesterday and it popped instantly. I thought it was a bad atty, so I put the one I got with the unit back on and it popped too. I checked the connection and dabbed with a paper towel to see if there was any juice or something else interfering and it looked as clean as when I got it. I have a couple of backup attys, so I pulled one out after that and gave it a try. Same thing...it popped the second I hit the button.

If it matters, I got an 801LR atty from altsmoke yesterday and it worked great thru this am. I took the 801 off because I wanted to clean it and put on the 510LR and that's when the problem started. It was working great just minutes before I put on the new atty. I haven't tried the 801 and don't want to. I'm afraid I'll lose another atty.

BTW...I found the help desk link and opened a ticket.

Thanks!

Check it out, I took a look at the new 510LR atty I put on this am just before the shorting started. (the one I got yesterday) It had something that looked like resin or grease on the bottom and a little on the threads and I think a spot on the inside next to the base of the wick. It definitely wasn't juice since it was a dark and gooey like a grease or something. I took a closer look at the BB and saw some of it in the threads and I'm assuming on the terminal connection (even though I cleaned it before). I took a paper towel and rolled a corner of it as tightly as possible and cleaned the threads and terminal area several times. I got whatever it was out of there and gave my last remaining LR atty a try and it works.
Now the dumb part...I was in a rush to leave our place this afternoon 'cause we're selling and we had an open house. I chucked the atty that had the gunk on it. I shoulda saved it to back up what I'm saying here.

Anyone else ever seen an atty come out of the package with something on it?
