Can someone recommend to me a 4 channel charger for my LiFePo4 RCR 3.2v batts?

Looking for a 4 channel charger if they are made in 4 channel. Would be nice if it would also charge my 3.7 batts in 18650 and 18350 size.

I have a Trustfire TR-003p4 charger for my 3.7v batts and love it but having an all in one 4 channel charger would be ideal so I don't have to have two chargers with me if I travel.

Would love to find one.

Any others know of one?

I would envision it would have four charging bays with the spring loaded negative terminal so it would adjust to different size batteries like my Trustfire does. It would have a switch on the side to change from 3.2v to 3.7v
A charger like that exists but only with two charging bays. I'm pretty certain that what you are looking for is not available right now.

2XUltrafire WF-188+Duct Tape=Win!

Seriously, though, I've never seen a four channel that has selectable voltage too.

That is kind of what I am thinking as well. Googled and found nothing.

Question for the crew:

I bought from COV 4 AW LiFePo4 500 mAh 3.2v batteries. I have a Tenergy model PH-123A-3.0 charger that came with my LiFePo4 750 3.0v mAh batteries. I was thinking this charger would be fine for these new batts but wanted to hear from those with more knowledge than myself.

Specs on the back of the charger are:

Input: 12 VDC 250 mA
Output: 3.6 VDC 360 mA

repent - thats the setup I have been using for a while now. No problems yet.

Hi Grateful;

You've got the same setup? Cool. I thought when I bought the other four batts that I was thinking along the right lines by using my current charger. Just helps to be cautious with this sort of thing.

No it is no good. The original cells are the standard 3.7V Li-ion cells that are regulated down to 3v for out put but are charged to 3.7v. My charger is the same model but it says that the output is 4.5V

You need a charger that specifically puts out a max of 3.6v like the ultrafire 188 or 138 for the LiFeP04 cells otherwise you will overcharge and explode your new cells.

If the output is a constant 3.6V though, you may be fine. All of my 3.2v LiFeP04 chargers output 3.6v at 250mA. Up to you.

RHUT ROH! Did you forget to flip the switch on your charger? If you know that the charger works, they may be DOA's. I am sure that even AW's can have DOA's. I would test them with a MM first. If just one is bad, neither will work if stacked.

If you are sure you over charged them, then it sounds like it is time for the round file.

Interestingly, I just had a LiFePO incident happen. For some reason I went crazy and set my MIL up with a DC tank and 3v CR123s in her Silver Bullet... But I forgot to tell her not to charge them on the TR-001 charger.

There's a happy ending, though. It didn't kill them (as soon as I found out what she did I multimetered the batteries and they were putting out 3.29v. Whew) and it didn't burn down the house. And now my MIL knows there's a difference between 3v and 3.7v batteries.
