Hey All,

I like vaping from the large 5 and 6 ml tanks and have a problem I can't figure out. Currently I'm using a VRVV mod mini, but I also have a 3.7v black box, eGo's, you name it. Whenever I open a new tank I fill it with whatever juice I have at the moment and I take 5 or 6 drags which produce huge clouds of vapor, then instantly the next drag produces nothing. If I get anything at all it's just a tiny wisp of vapor. And it stays that way forever more. I can clean everything, change juice, doesn't matter, I never get the big huge clouds again. I put on a brand new tank, same thing, 5 or 6 drags and huge clouds, then nothing. What the heck is going on? It also doesn't matter the brand of tank, the device I use, it's always the same. Help!

Thanks,
Mark

hey buddy,

Whats the vg/pg ratio of your juice
Howmany holes are in your cartos?
you may need to take a paper clip and push a bit in side the hole or if you are vaping really thick juice you may need to punch an extra hole. Try experimenting with a paper clip first. You can also buy carts with 2 holes prepunched for thicker juice.

You can also try finding different types of cartos for your tanks like boges or something.

Hope this helps, gl

Hey guys,

Currently I'm using these tanks;

but I also use various versions of these. To answer the first questions, there's no problem with draw. These have slots on either side of the fitting (510's) so there's no way for them to be blocked in that sense. I mostly mix my own juice which is 70/30 pg heavy. More VG than that and it doesn't seem to wick as well. Otherwise I use Boba's Bounty or maybe some flavor from Backwoods?

I quit using carts 2 years ago. I vape too heavy for them. I had to fill them every couple of minutes and that drove me nuts. I spent more time refilling than doing anything else. So then I started using clearomizers, smokymizers and all those types when they first came out. Then I discovered the big tanks that will last me a day and a half between topping off again.

Thanks again!

Dang , i don't know what seems to be the problem. If your having the same problem on every device you have them it must be the tank/carto but this is just my opinion. Maybe a more experienced vaper can help you out

What i can tell you for sure is that I've seen a lot of talk about vision tank problems. Try giving your tank and device a good shake before inhaling to wick it properly. But that's going to be as much of a pain as filling carts constantly. But if it vapes good after shaking it then you know the tank could be a problem

check out this thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tank-issues/285349-vision-stone-v3-tank-pita.html

pay careful attention to this second paragraph of post 2 in that thread:

"Oh, forgot to mention, you can fix the wicking issues very easy by taking the bottom cap off once theres little to no juice in it, and lightly twist the wicks to loosen them up some, i did that with mine the second i got it and it actually wicks very well. "

Let me know what works!

FWIW, those guys are talking about the first version of the v3. The one I pictured above should have been called v4. With the original version, when you took a drag you would suck juice up into the metal cap, then you either had to empty it or you would drink it. With this new version they changed the silicone cup on top and it doesn't do that anymore. They also don't leak out the bottom now. Don't know what they changed there, but they did majorly suck before. Also with the new ones, you can buy replacement centers (stem, wicks, cup) for $2. So if they burn out or screw up you just pull out the center and push a new one in. "Brand new" tank all over again! The originals were welded in, so you couldn't change them.

Well, I do that all the time and you do get a decent first hit, but then it stops again so you have to shake again. When I get the juice down lower I'll have to try fluffing the wicks and see what that does?

Here is the voltage mod I use too. It's like a Provari, but was $45 for the kit as opposed to the Provari's $212;

This little thing kicks .... with the voltage adjustment. I like being able to adjust up and down depending on the juice or tank I'm using. And no, this isn't a "You gotta buy this!" deal. It's more of, this is my setup deal.

EDIT: I just made up a new batch of juice of 60/40 PG and fluffed up the wicks. Seems good so far?
