can the kfl airhole be opened up?

so I got my kfl+ in the mail the other day...and the draw is a lot more tite then I like! my Russian 91 has a lot more draw!

even with the air adjustment screw completely out it only seems maybe 75% or the Russian...

anyway to dril it out somehow ?

you need to take out that tube that is below where the coil would be and either replace it with a bigger one or drill it out in some fashion.

If you like a more open draw the v3.1 and the Mini are much more open than the kayfun lite (fixed air version). But the kayfun lite plus is pretty open, IMO. So you might want to take a look at the Aqua. It is much more open, and you can build it dual or single coil.

Are you using the drip tip that came with your KFL+?
I have found that using a drip tip with a larger opening will increase air flow quite a bit.

Absolutely swap out that drip tip if you are looking for more airflow. I found 100% better airflow by using a fat drip tip with large bore.
