I posted last night about a concern I had about a battery but now I have to seek out some clarification from the membership here.

In a nutshell....I ordered an Ego-T kit that claimed to have 1300mah batteries. The packaging inside the kit says it contains 650mah. After asking for some help on how to identify a batteries size here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/206543-how-do-i-determine-what-size-battery-i-have.html

The vendor has responded to my email and says that the 1300 batteries are the same length as the 650 but thicker. Can anyone verify that this is true? Any pic I have been able to find of a 1300 shows it as much longer and thicker. Below are some pics of the batteries I received. Can you look at these pics and tell me for sure what size batteries I was sent?

I'm not divulging the vendor at this time, no need to throw anyone under the bus, as they are communicating via emails at this point. I am still new to this and just want to have the proper knowledge to make sure I am getting what I paid for.

Thanks!!

I think something may have been lost in translation there. Those are almost certainly 650mah batteries. However, if you add 650+650=1300. Did you get 2 batteries in the kit? Might the vendor been adding the values in the product brochure? AFAIK, there are no 1300mah ego joye batteries.

Sorry if I didnt give enough info:

Both the vendor website and the invoice that came with my order state that the kit comes with two 1300mah batteries. The website still reflects this. Again, I have been vaping for two weeks so I am still new to all of this and appreciate your insight.

Directly from their website:

"eGo-T tank kit. Included in this kit is 2 1300mah batteries, 2 tank atomizers, 5 prefilled Tankcarts (Asst Tobacco), 1 eGo fast USB charger, 1 AC to USB adapter, 1 pouch, 1 instruction sheet. The batteries have button covers. These tanks have the rubber caps, which will avoid the leaking problems of the plastic tips. We also include a full bottle of E-Liquid. Get Tanked!"

I thought maybe the vendor had made a dumb mistake. Sorry, can't be more help but from my limited experience, it looks like its time to confront the vendor forcibly and find out what happen. Prices for ego-t kits usually range form $40-$60. If you paid more than that range because of the 1300mah batteries, I might suggest a refund or at least getting what you paid for.

Giving a vendor's name and website is not "throwing them under the bus", if your not sure if they're reputable or not, just ask. We have a way of figuring out who is full of bs and who isn't. This vendor sounds like there claims are questionable, I've been looking at eGo T for quite awhile now and have never seen a 1300mAH battery. All I've ever found are the 650mAH and the 1000mAH.

As far as mentioning the vendor now, well, I would rather wait until this reaches its conclusion. Hopefully at that time I will be able to say that they standby their word and go out of their way to make their customers satisfied and happy.

You are the second person in this thread to mention that they have never heard of a 1300mah ego-t, and yes, I'm concerned.

This is going to be a response from limited experience, but I just bought an eGo-T setup from a vendor in Raleigh (might be the same one if you purchased locally). I was given the choice of a 650, 900, or 1000 mA battery. They were all progressively longer although basically the same diameter. I just measured mine and it's identical to yours in length and circumference (don't overanalyze that sentence :) ). A co-worker has the 900 battery for his and it's a full inch shorter. My $.02, but in my shopping around I found no reference to a 1300 mA battery either.

Here's a vendor offering a 1300mAh ego battery, don't see a kit with the 1300mAh batts there though, just the battery. ego 1300mah battery

Gerald, you might be able to contact the above vendor for their take on the battery sizes 1300 vs 1000 vs 650.

I think I found the vendor that Gerald used and it's not one that I've heard of before (which isn't saying much :D). They do have an eGo kit listed with 1300mAh batts. I'll let Gerald decide if he wants to reveal this vendor.

There are 1300 ego batteries. One of the suppliers is selling them here on this board. Having a tank system doesn't have anything to do with the battery. A battery is a battery. A tank has to do with the atty and tank.

I have a 1000 mah battery, a 650 mah and 750 mah. The 650 and 750 appear to be around the same size. The 1000 is a lot larger.

LOL, I wont over analyze that statement.

So, you got the 650? I did not buy locally but would like to know of who you went to since I am looking for another local vendor in the Raleigh area. Send me a PM if you dont mind, thanks!

I think the echo-e has a 1300 battery.

My 900 and 1000 mah batteries are noticably longer than my 650s. That said, I have also purchased a 1300 'ego' kit that turned out to be a Hello (or similar). These batts were most definately bigger around than my 650s. So I knew they were *at least* 1000... And tho it came with an 'Ego' brochure, it did not fit my ego stuff.

It doesn't look like a bad kit at all provided you got what was offered in the kit. I don't think you did.

And that is why I posted here, to find out if I got what I paid for. I knew I could draw on the membership here to school me on whether or not this company delivered what it promised. So far some conflicting reports but for the most part its looking like I got 650's.

Thanks ECF!
