Sorry, I know there are a dozen istick threads already but instead of jacking someone else's thread I decided to post a simple question.

My istick didn't come with the charger so I'm wondering if I can use my 2.1A ipad charger to charge it faster. Will this eventually lead to a shortened battery life? On the eleaf website they say you can use a 1A charger to make it charge faster but I'm wondering if any electronics-savvy people here can say if a 2.1A charger will damage it.

it should be just fine... it should just use what it needs.

Although many USB power supplies expect the center pins of the target to be shorted or have a specific resistance between them or they will not provide current above the standard 250ma rating for usb devices. if it charges slow thats likely the reason why. if you have an extra usb cable laying around and the ability to solder the data cables together it will fix this -- just cut the data cables and short the data cables that go to the charger if you have that problem.
