Yes, you can use them on your passthrough. It may look a little bizarre but should work really well. If I'm not mistaken, the EMDCC's are 1.6 Ohm's. As far as the VV mod, YES, you should get one. You won't regret it! It a great mod and you can't beat the price.

I tried some 1.5 ohm dual coil XXL cartos (not ego) on the Smok Tech 5V Manual pasthrough and they DIDN'T work. I just recieved some 2.0 and 2.5 XL dual coils and they both work just fine.

Edit: Don't beleive everything you read, the 1.5 ohm stuff will work fine if you use the 2 amp adaptor (wall or car) from Mad Vapes. I had been using a 2 amp enercell adaptor with 4 usb ports but aparently the amps are shared and a couple of chargers were stealing some of my amperage. Just plugged into the Mad Vape adaptor and it's all good. Having a hard time seeing the screen through the cloud of vapor.
