Can you use reg 510 stuff on an ego T battery?

I'm into mods, but helping someone new get set up with decent equipment to start. There's a great price on an ego T kit, 1100 mah, and while I'd never suggest she wrastle with the tanks, is it possible to use them as batts with any 510 hardware (cartos/dc tanks) instead of the tanks? I wasn't sure, so figured i'd ask you guys.

No adpater necessary. The ego has a 510 connector. It can use 510 cartos and attys natively.

Perfect! Thanks so much, both of you! We found a great deal, I'm just not sure how 'odd' the ego t is, and wanted to make sure she didn't have to use the tanks, as I find them way too complex for a noob. Pluus when i get her in a tank it'll be a nice dct. Thanks again!

The ego batteries, no matter if it's ego-T, ego-W, ego-C, whatever, are all the same as a standard Riva/kgo/tornado battery - roughly the diameter of a sharpie, and they'll work on anything with a 510 connection just fine. If you want to hide the wider ego threading (visible in that pic someone posted earlier) when using a carto, you can pick up empty ego atomizer tubes that give it a nice taper, like this:




Now, that same clearomizer (which is a smidge narrower than a standard carto, but only barely) without the cone, on the same battery:




And when you put a dct on it, it looks kinda like this (although this happens to be a Phiniac tank, and I'm using an adaptor to cover the ego threading and provide a wider base for the tank to sit on):

Thanks, Lady! That actually was very helpful. I used to use egos for about a year, before I moved onto mods, but that was before all the Ts and Cs etc came out. I figured they were all essentially the same, but the weird atomizers it came with kinda threw me, plus they use a different charger, so figured it was worth an ask. I'd have taken a chance if it was for me, but it was for my buddy who's brand new and cross country, so i'd have felt terrible recommending something she couldn't use with all the other hardware I've sent her. lol That trick with the tube is pretty cool. I hunted like a mad beast till I found a sort of 'thread cover' type short cone, but i knew there had to be another option. lol And yay! Youve got one of those Phiniac tanks, huh? I'm totally enamored of the blown glass decorated ones. Gonna grab one as soon as I can manhandle the sucker into my budget. lol

So she's getting an awesome 1100mah ego T kit, and she's got the 650 starter ego kit i sent her, so at least she's set enough on batts that if one gives up the ghost, she won't be back on the cigs... and she got it cheap, so we're both happy. I've seen those for $69 and she's paying $25, so that's a good day's shopping. Oh, and the guy at the store said its measuring at 4.2v off the charger, so that's good, too! rofl
