Can you verify these fuses for my dual parallel 18650 DNA40 build? I've done my forum reading already, I promise.

So as I said during my introduction, I've been recommended here after several questions on related ECR subreddits regarding a DNA40 build. I've seen a thread where mamu posted about fuses as well as mamu's extensive explanation on fuses.

Can anyone confirm the that the fuse i'm looking at is appropriate for my build considering the dna 40's max input Amps are 16A? Do my lhold of fuses need to be a bit higher to incorporate some sort of margin?

From the digikey website: RGEF800-ND

I'm no electrical engineer, that's for certain, and seeing as I'm still new I can't PM people yet, so if anyone can provide some advice or point this thread to mamu, I'd seriously appreciate it!

That fuse trips at 13.6 and trips in 5 seconds. Are you protecting the board? Your trip current needs to be as close to you max as possible to allow it to work. To low and it will trip to often, to high and it wont help. Since your running duels I think I would do a 7 on each battery. Before they are connected together

Talked to someone smarter than me about this. She said some people are having issues with the preheat part so she uses two of these in parallel for each battery.2920L700SLPR Littelfuse Inc | F6137CT-ND | DigiKey You are protecting the batteries with these anyway so it should be fine.

I read somewhere to use two of these fuses for each battery, so 4 in total. Not sure if this is correct though, only place I can find it is digikey and they charge a crazy £12 for postage.
