If CP is still backlogged, then they should adjust delivery times when accepting new delivery orders. If I'm paying for expedited delivery and they give me an expected delivery date, that date should be reflected accurately rather than a 'best guess' that turns out to be wrong!!!
Agreed, hon. Expected delivery dates
need to be accurate, or they mean nothing. That's their only purpose! I've been holding off on placing any new orders, or sending any new mail
(even though I have some parcels ready to go out)...hoping this backlog would be mostly dealt with by now.
Of course, it doesn't help that CP still
won't allow the workers to put in
any overtime to clear up the backlog. The workers asked to be allowed to do that, presuming that CP wants the backlog cleared up quickly
(and naturally, wishing to earn back a fraction of what they lost during the unpaid two-week lockout). But CP said no damn way, literally placing a ban on overtime. Grrr...
They probably figure that delaying the return to normal service will generate more public irritation with the workers, whom the corporation is all too happy to blame...even though this current delay is entirely
CP's doing. Just as the lockout was CP's doing.
Meanwhile all sorts of new mail is piling in. This is ridiculous, I have things I want to send & receive - on time, please. Stop screwing with our mail service in order to further fuel your anti-worker nonsense, CP!
