Hey there, I've been vaping for about a month or two now, and i love it, however i have a few concerns.

I have an ego kit, as well as a 510, both are good although i rarely use my 510.
I get all my hardware and e juice from a guy in my town i found on craigslist (LOL)
since nic juice is illegal in canada, the only site i found that does ship to canada (Nicfitnation) I haven't ordered from yet, the only thing im worried about is that there may be Diacetyl in the juice i get from my local source, so I was wondering if anyone knows any canadian sites that CONTAIN nic that are guaranteed NO diacetyl (just want to be safe as possible, thats why i started vaping)

One last concern, when I smoked I always coughed up nasty blood and whatnot, now that ive started vaping, the blood is infrequent, but Im always getting gobs of phlegm with brown specks in them, lots of it too... Is this the tar from quitting smoking? or is this dried blood :S
I know its impossible for you guys to give 100% accurate quotes, but any input is appreciated,

also, any vapers in vancouver or the fraser valley let me know!!!!!!

Hi and welcome! After you have 5 posts/replies and wait about an hour you'll be able to ask in the Canada subforum where they have more info on Canadian suppliers etc. If you let the whole front page of the forum load and scroll down you will eventually find the country/region subforums.

And you probably should check with a doctor on the blood part. Re coughing up phlegm, some people do that for a bit after they switch to vaping. My sinuses actually cleared up pretty fast after I switched and I stopped coughing every morning and other times.

Are you using 100% PG ejuice? That stuff can be kind of harsh. I recommend you try at least 30% VG - 70%PG/30%VG - and that will make the vapor smoother though it will dampen the TH a bit.

Hi Fezbo,
I strongly agree with the doctor thing!
I have no idea how long you smoked but if you were already having such serious problems before vaping this should have been previously checked out by a doctor.
Hopefully vaping will reduce your symptoms but you still need to know what is going on and not expect it all to clear just because you have stopped/reduced smoking. Could be cigs have already done tons of damage that may need medical care to help clear up or stabilize. Only your doc can say about all that.
Other than that, WELCOME and good luck with your vaping future. This is a great place to get all kinds of vaping information as I am sure you have already figured out.

Coughing blood issue; its been covered. Hit the doctor. Cant add anything more then that.

As for diacetyl and canadian suppliers. Short answer - i dont know. But! Dont limit yourself to canadian suppliers. In my experience canada is overpriced by comparison to our american counterparts, and the selection is limited. Most juice makers ship to canada. Just place fairly large orders to try to offset the shipping.

If you do broaden to u.s suppliers - many suppliers on this forum post their stance on diacetyl and you can make a decision from that.
