Hey guys.

I'm looking to make the switch, Little background of me.

I started smoking when i was in High School, Grade 8 and now 22. I smoke 1-2 packs in 2 days and it's becoming a bad habit to the point where i can't afford it but can't give up smoking!

Today, Just an hour ago i went to the corner store and brought a disposable E-Cig, good taste but I was toking on it like a manic and it didn't please me.. i quickly look at the cover NICOTINE FREE DAFUQ IS THIS?

But anyways, it's not going to stop me... so upon reading and searching there are some things i'm still confused about.

Where can i buy e-liquids that have Nicotine preferable in Brampton/Toronto Area, online is fine but local is better!, and how long do each bottle of e-liquid last?

what are some good starter kits that are cheap? so far i have my eyes on the joyetech eRoll.

Hi and welcome!

Once you have 5 posts you can ask questions in the sub-forums and there is a Canadian one. They should have more info on good vendors in/or that ship to Canada.

Here is another resource: http://vaporjoescanada.blogspot.com/

A lot of people like the eRoll, but it has a big limitation. The way that the atomizers attach is unique, so other juice delivery devices can't be used on it. You might want to look into something more powerful, like a Joyetech Twist or Vision Spinner. They may seem unwieldy right now, but people are very often more successful in giving up tobacco when they have a more powerful and versatile set-up.

Get a hold of Rob at mad vapers MadVapers - Your Canadian Distributer of Premium E liquid and E Cigarettes. I don't know his exact location but he's in your neck of the woods.

I would suggest getting a Madvapers Canada Kanger Protabk 2, e cigarette accessory and a Canadian E-Cigarette Genuine Joyetech eGo-C Upgrade Battery mAh. Madvapers- Canadian E-Cigarette so that you can vape while the battery is charging. Don't forget to get some extra coils Kanger T3S and MT3S Replacemnt heads. (I prefer 1.8 and 1.5 ohm coils to the 2.5 ohm coils that came with my pro tanks.) You will have some decent gear for under $50 and the juice will cost extra.

Mad Vapers also sells nic juice and I would suggest some email exchanges to get a better idea of what you want to order. The battery and tank set up will kick a eRoll's .... hands down and then you will have something to build on in the future.

DISCLAIMER: I am in no way affiliated with Mad Vapers nor do I get any discounts or compensation for recommending them. The reason I suggest them to you is due to location, product line and price. Shipping is supposed to be very fast as well.

EDIT: I consider 30ml of juice roughly equal to 10 packs of cigarettes. I smoked a carton a week of full strength cigarettes and found 24mg juice to be about right. Most people say 18mg for a pack a day smoker.

Dont get discouraged from vaping by the first disposable. i did the same thing and i almost did not give it a second chance.

From reading reviews on this site i found Halo Triton, which for me has worked great! and i am now in my 4th day without a cig. I was a pack a day smoker for close to 15 years.

my .02: Get a couple of bottles of juice at once so you can experiment with flavors and get different nic levels.
I tried the 24ml and it made me dizzy. I am now on 18ml and 12ml.

Keep at it! you can do it!

Hey esse, welcome to the cult! ;)
I switched from smokes to vapes mid-day without a hitch, so you should slide into this just fine. Best if you can find a local shop with a tasting bar; I must have spent an hour tasting and talking before I walked out with an eGo-W kit and a couple of 30 ml bottles. The juice will be important because starting off with a flavour you don't like will kill your momo and you'll be back at the ciggies.

Not sure how much you've been reading, but it's easy to get confused with all the jargon and acronyms folks use in the forum. Perhaps there's a post that summarizes most of them. Kill your 5 posts in the new members forum and then don't be afraid to ask questions. For a half decent starter kit that you won't need to trash, expect to spend between $80 - $120 including some juice.

Best o' luck!

It's good that you are looking to make a switch now. If the vapor options had been available 22 years ago when I was your age I'd probably be in a lot better shape today. I started with the disposables as well, but until I bought an inexpensive ego starter kit I was still hitting the analogs. You don't have to spend a ton of $ at first if you do your shopping. Once you find the right combo, you'll never look back. Plenty of recommendations on here, good luck!

You know the big flea market on Steele's? In Brampton. Canvape has a booth there on the weekends, I'm not 100% sure if they bring nic juice there though. You should email and confirm. If not, their shipping is fast to Brampton. :D

welcome esseNce2k

Canvape has four flea locations ... they carry nic juice and the eRoll ... sign up online to view everything.

Cheers and Happy New Year

Greetings & welcome to the forum.

+1 for Canvape, the selection & prices are good, and you can get stuff in person if you go to one of the local fleamarket locations (there are several in the Toronto area, listed on the CV website).

You have to register on the CV website to see the full selection of e-liquids btw. Keep in mind that the flea market selection is small compared to the website -- you can place an order on the website, with pickup option at one of the booths.

Do you have any idea of what you want to get in terms of a starters kit?
