Alright, I'm really confused about this. After reading through a million things on the internet, including the Food and Drug Act I cannot find anywhere where it says specifically that there is a ban on e-cigs. As far as I can tell they weren't allowed to have nicotine in them before now anyways, yet the seller that I get them from puts it in there.
I now have no idea if I can walk down the street comfortably vaporizing.. I cannot find any new or government press releases on the subject.
If someone knows of the specifics please tell me.

You can walk on the street comfortably, vapping. Here's a Star reporter using one in a Starbucks, testing the reaction:

The problem is that it's illegal to sell ejuice with nicotine. It hasn't been tested for safety, which takes millions of dollars and years of research. Here's the Health Canada press release:

Health Canada Advises Canadians Not to Use Electronic Cigarettes - Health Canada Advisory 2009-03-27

On the bright side, our dollar has never been higher, and the US is a great place for a quick ejuice weekend pickup vacation.
