The only thing you can't really find locally is the battery connector, but you can pick that up for $2 from VaporGeek.

Battery boxes and switches can be picked up at any Radio Shack or other electronic store in your town, I used to pick mine up locally at this store for a $1.29 a piece.

That's all you really need, and maybe a soldering iron but you can pick that up for $10 or so.

The feeling of vaping something you created is like none other, and knowing that no matter what happens you can make your own ecigs :)

That maybe true but for what I can get from MV with fairly cheep shipping, ill take it.

Granted I haven't needed to order things from them because of the great stock that our Canadian suppliers are carrying for things that I do need (attys/cartos/batterys). I've got my one stop shopping place for hardware, Canvapes got what I need

I have to agree with everyone on the Canadian dealers they are great.
Tom at canvape can't say enough about him he has helped me out quite a bit, excellent customer service.
Cdnv great prices and great customer service, he even phoned me at home when I was having a problem with my Knight Rider not too many dealers do that so hats off to him.
One dealer no one has mentioned yet was NicFit Nation he's has to be one of the best also ask him a question and he answers right away, super fast service, great videos to help the newbies, probably the best dealer in western Canada.
To all the Canadian dealers in 2012 hats off to you. All the best in the New Year.

While I have visited just about all the Canadian Vendors websites, I have only ordered from three of them. Until November I ordered almost exclusively from Happy Vaper, good selection of products, good customer service, although I did receive one DOA atty with my first Ego kit, and after a lot time on the phone with them trying different things, the atty still didn't work, and I was surprised that they did not offer to replace it .. I continued to order from them, without further issues, so I am mostly pleased with Happy Vaper experiences.

Since Canvape opened I made two orders with them, very happy with my purchases, and they will continue to be a mainstay for me ... you can't beat their pricing.

I tried Canadavapes, ordered two bottles of juice and was not very happy with it. The strawberry juice was just awful and poorly made. For one, this is the only bottle of juice I have ever had that truly produces NO VAPOR! The flavor is super artificial and it was as though they had made a serious mistake while mixing the juice and decided to fix it ..... with water :S. I have yet to come across a thread that mentions this vendor, and perhaps with good reason.

I haven't tried more Canadian vendors because I am turned off by the pricing, so Canvape has been a good remedy for that.

I'm not gonna lie, I don't have much experience with canadian vendors. I have been vaping 6 months and have used 1 single vendor the entire time. Why? I have had absolutely no reason whatsoever to go to any vendor other than CEV. I know I post so much about them that it probably seems like I'm working for them (hopefully someday that will actually be true *fingers crossed*) but I am really just so enthusiastic because I'm such a huge nerd for small business stuff and this entire industry is the epitome of what I always believed small business SHOULD be. When I went to my first vape meet I bought an ego-t from CEV after sitting down at talking with them for a bit. I left, kept using it, and I was happy with my decision because I had thoroughly researched it beforehand like I do with just about everything. Then they sent me an email. Not some script generated, generic email, but something that was actually written by one of them. They wanted to know if I had any issues with it, if I had completely quit smoking or if I was just moving slowly over to it. They wanted to know all the small details. I remember reading it and thinking "wow, they actually seem to take an interest in their customers". As I continued visiting them and buying more from them, they never treated me like I was just customer #302928, but like they were my friend and just trying to help me out while making a living. I have never had any impression otherwise while dealing with them or watching them deal with others and it still sticks out to me as some of the best experiences I have ever had while dealing with a company. I haven't just found a vendor in CEV, I have genuinely found some friends that are passionate about something that I have now grown passionate about because of them. It really makes me feel all warm and tingly to hear that they are not the only vendor like this out there. I truly feel that with the way things are going, e-cigs may never end up being some faceless corporate product available at gas stations. I can't say it enough, I am so proud to see such a noble group of people practicing business alongside each other, with so little bad blood and dirty tactics being used on their competitors. Vendors seem to largely be those who are passionate and everyone is willing to lend a helping hand to one another in such a great way. I feel like I am rambling here but growing up in a family with a couple small businesses, seeing how so many different industries operate, and then finally coming across something like this, it brings a bit of a tear to my eye.

TL;DR: Vendors that treat their customers like friends make this entire community what it is. If you don't have a vendor like this, get one and keep them in business. It is truly a rare thing these days.

Right now it's about availability for me. How can I be a fan of any supplier if what I want to buy is not available in it?

Yeah but you can expect this around the Christmas time (okay yes I know it's over now but the postal system backlogs are still there). Give it another 2 weeks and I'm sure stock will be up again on almost all vendors.

You may be right about that. I hope they'll start carrying items like E-Power switches, 2AA box mods, Indulgence V3, 2amp USB wall adaptors for passthroughs, etc.

I made two purchases so far canvape and mlv right between the two holidays and they both did an amazing job. I received the items in a couple days and all working as advertised.

Wait a minute. Are you saying you placed an order with MLV between Christmas and New Years, and you already received your package?
