I understand the Cannon line is an 801. What differences would I notice in use, compared to the 510s?
REO ftwThey also leak... I would not buy one until someone confirms that they have been fixed !
REO ftw![]()
how are the cannons working on your reo? every time I try and use them on mine I get frustrated, give up, and go back to my cisco 306's because it leaks enough to fill up the catch cup and start flowing down the side when I pick it up, I also notice that when I try and "blind squonk" I don't feel the pressure change that normally signals me to stop inhaling/squeezing the bottle. love the flavor though and now I need to try out an 801 with an adapter.

They are built to run how they run, any 801 internal on any Atty with a 510 thread with the holes in the threads will have some liquid come back out through the bottom end, especially with as much fuel as the cannon takes to run, and with a bottom feeder with a catch cup and using the O-Ring system trick I made up you have NO LEAKAGE any longer plus it turns the Reo's into an Auto feed system for the most part, just trying to help here, you may like these very much if you try one, these are the only Attys I run on my Grands and love them, they give more flavor than any other Atty on a Reo grand too or any bottom feeder with a catch cup in my opinion.

Find it here.can someone please post the o-ring thread? lol thanks!
Use my O-Ring trick and you wont have any issues with leaking over the catch cup, plus it will Auto feed the Cannon Atty with the O-Ring on the cannon/Reo set up ! #83 Danco for the cannon,,,, #78 for 510 & 306 with reg 306 drip tip 83 with cannon drip tip
Using O-rings on you Reo's !
I happen to stumble upon this trick today just trying to find a way for the juice in the catch cup not to spill out any longer and while doing this also found it makes the Reo's self feed as well as giving you the ability to adjust your draw by how tight or lose you apply your O-Ring over the catch cup, push it down further = tighter draw, loser = lighter draw ! The O-Rings I am using are posted below and all available at Home Depot
Reo Min = Danco #78 = w/510/306 ,, Danco #83 W/801 or Cannon
Reo Grand = Danco # 83 with Cannon/801 ,,,#78 w/510/306
Reo Woodvill = Dnaco # 78 = w/801
OK so using these with the Iken Cannon Atty's : Here is what this does, slip the Danco O-Ring over your Atty down the tube until it sits on the top of the catch cup. The more you push down into the catch cup the tighter the draw and vice verse for a lighter draw. You will find 2 things that now happen while using the Danco O-Rings 1st your Reo will no longer spill any juice out of the catch cup which is a nice plus for when your carrying it around or want to set it down on your cars passenger seat like I often do. 2nd these O-Rings pretty much make your Reo's into a self feed system now with the O-Ring on your Reo it creates a vacuum affect an when you take a pull it will now self feed your Reo, once in a while you may have to squank the bottle but overall I'm finding they now self feed with the O-Ring which is super. This will also work for those who use 801 Attys. It will also work with 510/306 Atty's by using the # 78 O-Ring with 510/306
This really works super anyone using a Reo I suggest you try using these O-Rings over your Attys down onto the catch cup it's an overall win win situation![]()
