Cannot get my chi you clone mod to fire

Hey all. I received my chi you clone mod today and I am using it with a VTC 4 2100 mah flat top battery. I researched the specs online and it said that these two are compatible. When fully assembled, there is a lot of rattling. I took out the smallest piece in the mod so I am using the main tube and the 2nd longest. The battery isn't making a connection with the positive post and the piston is virtually useless. I have tried everything to limit space inside, but I can only unscrew the top post so much before it no longer makes a connection with the rda. My atomizer is a IGO-W. I cannot unscrew the piston inside the button the increase its length. I am really running out of ideas, help would be greatly appreciated.

I have an authentic SS Chi You. Yours should set up no differently than mine.

For your VTC4 battery, you need to add the longest tube to the base 18350 tube. Be sure the larger brass center pin is snugged up under your atty and adjust the smaller brass pin down to eliminate any battery rattle . . . Good luck.

Thank you for the reply.
Mine does not have any additional brass pins. The pin under my atomizer is snug against the bottom terminal of the positive post. If I unscrew it anymore, I cannot make a connection and no power will flow. It seems like the amount that I would have to unscrew it in order to make the battery fit correctly disconnects it from the RDA.
Does this mean I'll have to buy additional brass pins to make it work? Or a different battery, perhaps a nipple top?

The pin on the clones topcap should be double adjustable, adjust out the larger (inner) part of the contact first, install the atty then tighten larger part of contact till it snugs against attys 510. Then use the smaller part of the adjustable pin (screw it out) till you eliminate the battery rattle, it may take a few adjustments/assemblies to get it perfect.

Is your top post, positive pin, comprised of a single adjustment pin only?
