Chi You clone mod won't fire

I recently purchased a Chi You clone mod as a gift for someone and it worked great the first two days, but then it stopped working out of the blue. The button won't seem to push in all of the way. I have adjusted the pins in it every way possible, and it still isn't working. Please help!

Check your batteries, make sure they work. Check to make sure your RBA/rda/RTA etc is making contact. If nothing works then i'd suggest trying to get a refund :/

Did you try taking the switch apart and checking the contact surfaces?

You say it feels like it doesnt press in all the way...with the switch out of the mod, when you press the button, does the screw head rise up above the level of the plastic insulator, or stay recessed inside it?
