Cannot switch eVic on / Only Showing Charging and Uploading

Hi Everyone,

Great forum here so I am hoping to get some help. I bought my eVic a few months ago and I have been so happy with it. Until just yesterday it was working fine till after charging I realized it wont switch on. So after scouring the internet for leads, I found this thread new-members-forum/461764-evic-wont-dont-work.html which seemed very helpful as I found out so many things I did not know about my eVic.

I tried all methods stated above but still, it wont switch on. Only when its plugged in to USB to my Laptop it shows Charging / Uploading. The MVR firmware is now upgraded to 1.4.

Is there any way to switch the eVic on without the battery plugged in? or is there something else I am missing? I have cleaned everything repeatedly and put back and still no go.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

That what happened to my evic a long time ago when I installed the software onto my comp and tried to use it. From research I fried the evic and after that I will not ever install/update software connected to any PV. I did buy the evic used so I had no way to get my money back so I did eventually buy another used head that constantly popped off the tube so I had a very expensive ohm checker and now it lays in a grave at the landfill.

I have had mine for over a year and works great and I use it daily.
