I dont vape cinnamon or citrus juices often but I have used them in my vivi nova with no problems. just now, I filled it up with some mocking jay from juicy vapor and the tube just cracked and fell apart. im thinking of buying the metal tube for it but I still want to see the juice level. now I want to know if getting the new stv vivi nova is worth it. it uses a metal sleeve over the plastic tube to show how much is left in the tank. does anyone here have experience the stv? should I worry about that small indentation of plastic cracking too?

Yes. It's plastic. Buy yourself some nice glass tanks and then you won't have to worry about plastic byproducts leeching into your juice ergo your lungs. You can pick up some nice ones from vendors here, a nice price for a basic clear glass tank from ibtanked.com is a good basic glass, the phiniacs and bedazzles are beautiful but will cost a bit more.

And if you had used the ones you aren't supposed to as you state you have, just because you couldn't see the damage didn't mean it didn't occur. You need to rethink your penchant for cinnamon and citrus until you have the appropriate set up for it in order to stay safe.

thanks for the advice. I do have a glass tank from valley view vapes. though handling grommets isnt a big deal for me, I just cant stand cartos which is why ive stuck with vivi nova. easy to use and I rebuild them myself at a cheaper price. if all else fails and if I do become a heavy citrus and cinnamon vaper, ill buy some new cartos for my glass tank as a last resort

the STV are still plastic inside and I would assume the metal on the outside is just for looks not function. I will still eat/crack the inner plastic housing. Go all metal if your using harsh juices. At least with plastic you get to see it crack. With the STV it will crack and start leaking out of the glass viewing window!

don't forget cold weather can crack plastic also. and sitting on it and dropping it...

i use a lot of cinnamon juices and i have never had a vivi crack from it. of course others will tell you it happens (no experience myself) but other stressors. are more likely the cause in your particular instance.

im sure its the juice. theres no way id sit on my vivi nova since my e cig doesnt leave my hand, though I have dropped other novas, the one I broke I have never dropped, and its not cold in los angeles. all signs point towards the juice
