Can't decide... Reo Grand vs. Mini 2.1

As a first Reo, I see some postings says get Grand but I'm looking at both over and over and cannot pull trigger which one to buy... One of the big reason I like to get Reo is that it looks to be nice to carry outside (currently, I carry MVP because I like the form factor to carry around).

Other than juice capacity, what do you guys think of as first Reo needs to be if keeping in the pocket when out is more important?

Do you plan on kicking it? If so, you will need a grand.

Do you plan on putting it in your shirt pocket? If so, get the mini. DH puts his in his breast pocket and it is light and small enough not to drag down his shirt. He is perfectly happy with his 2.1

Do you need longer battery time? Grand.

I prefer my Grand as it is "just right" for my hand. The VV is too large, and the battery life and juice capacity of the mini is only good for home. But I go through batteries and juice like water

Oh what the heck, just buy one of each like me.

If you vape 3ml a day the Mini 2.1 is fine. You might need a extra battery when out for more than 3-4 hours.

The Grand is not that much bigger though. Look at these pics of a Grand, Mini 2.1 and a Mini:

The Grand would give you a lot longer on battery life and also more juice. The Mini 2.1 is almost as wide, thick as the Grand. Just a tad shorter.

I think the Grand is a better choice.

I have a grand, a 2.1 mini and a VV grand and they each have their strengths and I value them all. I might leave the house without the grands but never without my mini 2.1. The only worry for me is the batteries for the mini if you like sub oHm coils. About a low as I feel comfortable with on a 18490/500 is .8 oHm. Sometimes I'll throw an extra bottle and battery in the backpack but I'm usually not gone long enough to vape more than 3mls anyway. And the Mini is so damned stealthy and cute.

The grand mate. I've used this same silver grand everyday since I bought it. I've used it that much my hand has imprinted on it. Lol. You won't get much better.

I forgot to add as far as durability. I've dropped it more times then I can remember, even from some large heights. It's been kicked, stood on, submerged in water and accidentally thrown. It still works as good as the first day I got it.

Thanks everyone. these were quite responses didn't expect for you guys to answer this so fast. I think I'm going to go with Grand to start with... more than likely, I'll buy the mini in near future as I'll be still asking myself, "maybe I should've gotten mini.." Thanks a bunch!!

I keep both a mini 2.1 and a grand in the front pocket of my pants. I wear typical khakis at work.

I bought the mini 2.1 first, and love both devices equally. They both fit nicely in the palm of my hand. The mini is barely noticeable when I close my hand.

I bought a mini before my grand....and I love ALL my Reo's......but my Grands are my most used..... For me it's battery power...when I hit my pv I want a mouthful of flavor...and a roomful of vapor..and my Grands do it for me......I still use the green 5v (4.8) batts... but I am in the process of finding another battery to use as my 5v all need to be replaced now...Save yourself the money and aggravation...start with REO...and you won't have 75 pv's sitting in a box still brand new...yardsale....lol... and I use all my Reos.....

Another vote for the Grand......I have both and recommend owning both, but if you're only going to have one for a while, the Grand would be more practical.

I am a female. Average size hands. The Grand's height fits my hand size. True that the Mini 2.0 is shorter and is easier for me to conceal if needed.

Yeah. Conceal is not big a deal but more of carrying around in my pockets (shirts and pants) so Grand it is.. One additional question... does it come with extra spring? Do you know if extra bottles come with tops?
