I have been after my wife to get a provari. Yes, I know I should just leave her be. I just want her to have the best experience she can and besides I love mine. She has moved up from ego to a mini zmax. She has had it a little over a week and it seems like every other day there is some kind of issue. Funky error codes. Won't fire. Just something. We all know it is tax time and I am planning on getting another provari with my return. She says the provari is just too heavy. OK I get that. It is heavy. I have been thinking I should just get her a provari with a pretty wrap and surprise her with it. Then again getting her one could also cause me to end up in the dog house cause she is hell bent on not having one. Then there is always not getting it and just let her migrate to using the one I have once I get my new one. I hate for her to have a hand me down since she spent her childhood always getting the hand me downs. She deserves the best of the best and that is what I am trying to give her. So if yall were in my shoes what would you do? Run the risk of the dog house or let her migrate on her own once you get your new one? Just worried if I wait I won't have the money again for a while.

I recently got a provari mini and it seems lighter than my vamo for sure so I wonder if she might not prefer that. But, if she really doesn't seem to want one then maybe you should just tell her that you want to get her a new mod that won't have so many problems and let her pick one out online. If you have any shops nearby that would be a good place to take her so she can check them out herself. And, if someone there happens to have a provari mini she could check that out too. Good luck!

Agreed that if she REALLY doesn't want one, don't get it for her as a surprise. Is yours a mini or a full-size? The full with an 18650 is kind of a beast (not that I didn't get one anyway, and I'm 5'2") but the mini with a smaller batter is not very big at all. Maybe if she held one in her hand she might realize it's not as bad as she thinks.

I've only used eGo style batteries and Provaris, so I can't help with recommendations on anything else.

Have you been married long? If she says she doesn't like it, don't get her one but find out what she would like IF she wants anything new at all. In her eyes, the money could be spent for other things if she is getting by with what she has now.

In short, just because we are vape gadget nerds, it doesn't mean everyone is. It sounds like she isn't having a good experience with the zmax, so find out why. If someone gave me a Provari, batteries and a charger, I doubt I would use it much.

Having said that, give me a ZNA, battery and charger and I'm all over it. Form factor and all ;)

Just buy her one and "accidently" drop her other mod.

And never get to see the good bits again. Seriously, if she is adamant that she doesn't want one, you would be calling attention to the fact that you think her opinion is invalid. Even if you are correct, it's a bad move. Women do not like to be wrong and like to be told/reminded they are wrong even less. They control half of the money but they control all of the *****, if you get my drift.

Thankfully my old lady isn't like that. We debate and agree to disagree without any needlessly evil repercussions like that. Such a sweetheart.

Well this morning she was having issues with the zmax. Would not fire for nothing. So of course she throws it at me tells me to deal with it and grabs my provari mini throws her tank on it and says just get me one. Lol score one for the fat kid. OK make this number two. We had this same problem with cell phones. I bought her like 5 cells phones in one year cause they were "pretty" then would get mad cause they never worked they way my "ugly" one did. Lol guess I just have to spend more money each time til she finds out I was right. Lol
