I've been doing the DIY thing for 6-8 months now, and I have a problem in all the juice I make (almost exclusively follow well reviewed recipes online). There seems to be a "bite" in the inhale that I cannot get rid of - that I have not experienced in the juice I've purchased from vendors. It could be an excessive throat hit - I'm not sure. I switched to Nude Nicotine thinking that may be the cause. That didn't change anything. I'm never more than 6 mg of nic on anything. I make primarily tobacco, custard, and fruit/melon mixes (never all three combined!!) I use TFA and Capella's for the most part, but some other flavoring manufacturers that have been suggested. Usually high VG recipes - only thing close to 50% PG could be a few of the tobacco recipes. I'm just looking for a smooth ending, and I cannot find it. Any suggestions???

Take your pg and vape some of it straight out of the bottle. Should be slightly sweet. Now vape your vg straight. Should be almost flavorless. Neither of these should produce a TH. Now mix in your nic (No flavors) and vape that to see if your TH is coming from your nic. You should be able to narrow down where your TH is coming from.
