Works for me. Takes me right to the thread.

When I click on the link, I get "Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator" error message.

Went to see if the thread was listed in the subforum, and it there but flagged with "Thread deleted by j0ker"

I wanted to get some links from one of the posts in the thread and now it is gone. Why did the thread have to be deleted? There was some useful information.

Ok.. scratch all of that.

The reason you can't see it anymore is because the supplier asked for it to be deleted a while back. I can still see it because I'm an admin.

The moral of the story is: Painkillers can make you miss obvious things.

Thank you for checking on this Angus. The thread did start with comments about a bad build quality of a product and reading it saved me lots of grief and money. I was considering getting expensive repair done, but because of the information I read here, I opted to get a new device instead that ultimately cost much less. Ability to discuss these things -- good and bad -- has always been one of the greatest benefits of this forum. This particular thread also morphed into advice about compatibility of different devices that actually pointed me to a solution that actually works. There were links I used to purchase wall adapter, for example, that now I have and unlike half-a-dozen adapters I already own works with the device I purchased. This is really valuable information and has nothing to do about the shoddy product quality the thread started as. I wanted to add a note for other users confirming that I now have the particular combination and it works.

I am really shocked that this board would censor honest and useful information exchange!
