Hi, I'm looking for a low priced but good quality VV, I would like the passthrough and the LCD which seems very convenient to have and..well it just looks cool:) I have been able to find the Ego VV passthrough without a LCD and the Ego VV with LCD but its not a passthrough. It doesn't have to be a Ego, but something similar in look and price would be nice. The only place (from what I have found) that sells a battery with all three features is Alibaba and I really don't feel comfortable shopping there. Is it maybe not legal in the US, like a safety hazard maybe?

Any help/insight would be appreciated, thanks!

I fear you're hunting a unicorn. The eGo VV, IMO, is junk. It doesn't hold voltage well and is really not variable at all. It's a "selectable voltage" PV. You can choose from a small number of voltages and it doesn't even provide, under load, what you select. It's just not the nature of a disposable e-cig to be very good quality. The voltage range and variablility of any eGo style VV is substandard, except the Twist, which is not a passthrough and has no LED.

A passthrough is only an advantage if your battery is too small. Why be tethered to a computer or wall socket if you don't have to? Passthroughs only keep a battery charged. Get something with a decent sized battery and you won't have to worry about it.

If you want good quality, an "eGo" price tag, an LED battery meter and decent variable voltage, you won't find it in anything that looks like an ego. I would suggest a Vtube mini or full size. Instead of being tied to a passthrough, you just stick a new battery in when the old one is getting weak. Unlike an eGo VV, when the battery eventually wears out, you don't throw the whole thing in the trash. You just buy a new battery for $8.

You can get a Vtube mini or full sized Vtube for $50 shipped for the complete kit. You'll need on extra battery as a spare. There is a 30% off code "Vtube30". There is also another code you can use for a spare battery at 20% off. Code is "dad20"

Somewhere in PA on my Ultra Limited
The Innokin iTaste V2 is getting pretty good reviews. It's VV (with Indicator) and a PT. They're only 800mAh, but I was thinking they may be good for work as 800mAh would certainly last long enough till I got in and plugged it in. Starter kits are ~$80, so not as affordable as the tube deals at Apollo but still fairly reasonable for what you get.

GotVapes has a better price ($68.95) and 5% off when you subscribe to their newsletter.

Don't you throw the iTaste away when the battery craps out? If so, the Apollo V-Tube deal sounds like a better deal to me. Also, I'm not sure I'd like dealing with a square battery in a world of round cartos, clearos and tanks. But that's no biggie, just a personal thing.

Unlike other pass-through batteries, the iTaste is a true pass-through and can still be used as a pass-through after the battery dies.

According to reviewers, based on the fact that it will work at the selected voltage even without a charge in the battery, unlike other pass-through batteries.

I found an Ego VV LCD USB Passthrough that your looking for on ecigbestsave.com, under thier ego accessories button/link. I hope this helps with what ur looking for. Oh And just to let u know ecigbestsave is a reputable vendor that is on ECF and I have made a couple purchases there, one fore my Joye Ego-C USB that I use now. One more thing ecigbestsave sells genuine Joye products but the VV LCD model is not, so don't go thinking your ever going to find a genuine Joyetech VV USB battery, I checked their website and that model doesn't exist, if you didn't already know that.
