Can't get 801 fusion to work

Hey, guys. Having trouble with my XL 801 Fusions on my eGo Twist. I've seen many people on here say that it'll work with a stealth adapter, even though IKV says it won't. I'm not sure if that's the problem, or maybe I messed up punching the carto. Or maybe I just have to let it sit for awhile? How long should it take to start working once I fill it? I use 100% VG juice. It worked on a pre-punched boge carto.

It's a stiff pull when I draw on it, and I'm literally getting nothing. Any ideas?

What ohms are your cartos, and what setting do you have your twist set to? What do you mean that you are getting nothing? Is the vape weak, or are you getting no vapor at all?

I have the low resistance Mega 801 Fusions. I think they're 2.0 ohms. My twist is set at like 3.8 volts. I'm getting no vapor whatsoever. I tried putting the fusion on my regular eGo C 1000 mAh battery and the LED blinked three times. I took off the cartomizer, pressed the button again, and i blinked once. What's up with that? Sorry, I'm slow with this stuff lol. Thanks for your help.

Do you have the stealth screwed in flush to the bottom of the carto? This sometimes cause the centre post to push things out of whack, and cause a short. Check on that. Get a paper-clip and "adjust" the centre-posts of the carto and adapter. Never over-tighten a carto against an adapter. A little gap is way better than a shorted out carto which will lead to a shorted out battery.

Oh sh&t. It's kinda working. I just loosened everything up. Getting vapor, but it still seems off. Getting this loud sound. Not the good crackle I was getting with my Boge. Wondering if this is the "gurgling" that I've read about on here. Seems like something is wrong with the carto. When I punched it, (first time ever) I'm pretty sure the screw went all the way into the carto until something stopped it. I never heard a pop or anything to let me know the carto had been punched. Do you think I ruined the carto?

Why ignore the guy who sells them and who probably has gone round and round many, many times with this adapter you went with?

Forget about 'pops', learn to count turns after you make contact with the shell. Sounds like your carto is dumpster bound.

How many turns after contact are recommended?

I punched a new carto, and things seem to be working pretty well. Thanks so much for putting up with my BS, and helping out. Really appreciate it.

Vg may have to be thinned out to flow well. I believe Iken has pre-punched now, if you continue to have difficulties. Nothing is BS here, no-one expects you to know all this or have to be a quick learner.

Sometimes carto-tanks are problematic- which one have you chosen?

Glad you got stuff figured out kmayer29. I agree with r77r7r, there's no BS here. Just remember the golden rule with adapters. Do not over tighten, and you will be good to go.

Thanks guys. I went with an OCD tank from IBTanked.com. Pretty cheap and it's not too huge for my twist. I would def get my 801 fusions pre-punched but IKV doesn't pre-punch the mega. This thing is rocking right now. Tons of vapor. Def won't screw anything too tight anymore. Thanks so much for helping me out.
Oh, I get my juice from dripeez, and they thin their juice out already, so I think I'm good there.
