I just cleaned my coils and re-wicked my Mutation X with a .25 build in it. Had it for two weeks, and was vaping a cinnamon roll flavor at zero nic and was pretty satisfied. My MX is the only dripper I have built that low. After a re-wick, I decided to change flavors to a 2 nic fresh peach.

My God, I nearly died. I haven't had a nic buzz (and cough) like that in 20 years. I can't say I liked it anymore.

Anyone else find they can't take nicotine at any level on relatively low dripper builds? I can't believe it affected me so. I smoked for 25 years. Full flavor. But, haven't had a single smoke in 4 months, and have been on 2 nic for 2. Perhaps nicotine was a nastier substance than I ever realized.

You have to keep in mind that if you are generating huge clouds of vapor you are also proportionately taking in a huge amount of whatever is in that vapor. In other words, it's the difference between sipping on a small glass of water over an hour or force feeding yourself a gallon of it in under two minutes. It's still the same "water", but the consequences are different depending on how much and how fast you ingest it. Consequently just because you dropped to 2 mg nic doesn't mean your nic intake is necessary all that low if you are blowing through 10 ml's of it in an hour.

It's a brilliant observation. When we start vaping, we usually have high nic levels. And we vape on ce4's. Then, we get better tanks and drop our nic in half. We think we have gotten somewhere. Then, some of us go to drippers, and halve our nic again. Thinking we have gotten somewhere.

When, in all reality, every time we cut our nic in half, it's when we double our vapor production. Essentially making it a moot point.

With another analogy, it's like an alcoholic switching from liquor to beer, and then to light beer, thinking they are beating their addiction. You don't quit till you quit.

I really haven't quit a thing. Just changed delivery. I'm still addicted to poison. That's the harsh truth.

i used to hit 18mg when i first started out but that was with ce4 type
